When i turn the key to prime the fuel system, the CEL doesnt light up, and the fuel pump doesnt run. This happened once before, but i jumped the battery and that seemed to solve the problem. Today, i tried the same thing, and it didnt help at all. my battery has 12.51 DCV when the car is off.
Anybody heard of anything like this?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Is your main relay okay? When those go bad, they won't kick on the fuel pump. I personally havent seen one not turn the CEL on, though...

Yes. Depending on which intake manifold u have, u might need that newer b18c one too.

This is true, When you turn the key do you hear a click under the change box?

check the 10A alternater solenoid fues under the dash. It will cause the same symptoms.

question. Is there a specific chassis harness to use for a 91 civic std? My car is converted to mpfi but the previous owned chopped the harness up pretty well. I want to replace it with a mpfi chassis and engine harness and want to get the right one. are crx chassis harnesses the same as civic ones?

thank you. that fixed the problem. i took the 10a fuse out and upped it to a 15a fuse. should hold now.
this is a k-swap btw.

yeah, d-series fuel rails will not fit on B-series
fuel rails. I found that out just yesterday.
A friend of mine gave me one of those billet IPT fuel rails that came on some of the D-series motors and I spent thirty minutes polishing it yesterday before trying to put it on my ITR intake manifold, all to no avail.

are you 100% sure that was a y8 rail on your B16?
there is a B series rail that looks similar to the D series. but they arent the same. injectors are in the wrong spot and the B16 uses 3 studs while the D16y8 uses 2. also, the FPR is in a different location on the y8 rail and is a different part number
the 99-00 civic SI rail looks a lot like the 00 civic EX fuel rail. (or even the 92-95)
im looking at them in front of me now.
