WTF
lol
I'm sorry I don't mean to laugh but its funny to just see the tach fall on its face like that so randomly.
I can honestly say I have never seen that before.

Definitely electrical related.
I dont remember and the volume sucks here at work but is the engine dead when the tach goes dead?
If the engine does in fact die, then your idiot lights should pop up right?

yea the motor goes dead, until it reaches a certain rpm, then it comes back to life.

it's not a cluster problem. I've had it in the car for about 2 years and never had this problem until this year. I'm thinking wiring from ecu to the distributor is broken somewhere or the ecu has a bad component in it. It's an obd1 PR4 ecu which used to be an S200 unit. Now I just run ectune on it.

thats true, but the tach doesnt bounce. the engine dies and the tach drops to zero. I thought it would be the igniter also, but it does the exact same thing with two other distributors. I have had igniters die on me before. The car feels strong and it has yet to do this to me while beating on it. Mainly just cruising or slow acceleration on the highway.

thats the weirdest thing ive seen... i could maybe understand if it was opposite, only when beating on it, but not just normal driving only.. seems like either a bad ground somewhere or just your basic PIA electrical problem that needs to be slowly looked at. just inspect all the wires and pins... its gonna take forever!

Dang, those tails look hella Euro, y0!
Would probably match the front very nicely if you got the original/made a replica Mugen polycarbonate/lexan turn signal cover (the one that goes all the way across the top):

WTB: 91-96 NSX front bumper, drivers side fender, drivers side headlight assembly, and hood. Preferably in white. I need this stuff in a hurry...like before August 27.
THANKS GUYS!
THANKS GUYS!
yeah I'm still waiting on that lexan front piece
Was going to smoke everything but I need an extra set of front lights to swap out with.
LOL
I got those other Euro's as a joke because I was going to make a thread on "how to smoke euro tail lights" and then have some pictures of the original euro burning on a BBQ grill but I never got around to doing it
