I agree some of their rules are dumb, but the overall idea is sound. If you are the one investing in a property, you don't want people doing motor swaps in the street or parking cars in the grass, bringing down the value of your property. When the money is coming from your pocket, you tend to think differently.

this concept doesnt really need to be explained to me. I am a property owner. I don't see how a car under a car cover brings the property value down anyway at all???

It doesn't. or else my older neighbors would have a case against me. they don't. thats why they just bitch.

Hence the living in a community/respect argument. Sure, you can do whatever the hell you want, but at the expense of the respect of some neighbors . Can't please everyone though, but this is why I only wrench on my car in the garage .

So, anybody know what axles I need to use for a B17 swap with original YS1 tranny + intermediate shaft into a 1989 Civic Si? I'm thinking DA axles, but I just want to be sure before I drop the money on some. Will be running the newer machined Hasport mounts if that makes a difference .

Use the axles that go with the intermediate shaft you're using.

90-93 Intermediate shaft = 90-93 Axles
94+ Intermediate shaft = 94+ Axles
ABS or Non-ABS doesn't matter.

You may have to remove the dust seal at the wheel-hub end of the axle in the event of binding. Be careful with, and possibly replace the axle seals on the transmission. They get damaged pretty easily and can cause MTF to leak out between the trans and the axles.

I need Hasport mounts

if someone has a hook up or anything I have $150 sitting waiting to be used for the mounts.
Of course with how much I have they will have to be used mounts

Find a set of destroyed bushings and send em' in for the lifetime warranty . If the set I bought has chewed up bushings I'll be doing that...then some machine polishing with the dremel will have them looking better than new .

Btw, if anyone has/knows anyone who has a virgin P61 ECU for the 92-93 GSR please let me know. Cash in hand

But I won't Hasport mounts because it'll look good when I gold plate them

If anything next pay check I might just end up getting AZ mounts or whatever mounts Pann has for cheap

I got the opposite problem; I need a DPFI cable to replace the SI cable in my STD that previously had a DOHC ZC in it which I recently swapped out for a DX DPFI motor

Please dont give Pann your hard earned money. That place is shady! Just order the az mounts direct through azracemachine.com. You cant go wrong with these mounts, and from a machining standpoint the az mounts are much nicer than the hasports.

::inhale::

I bought my teal shell for $300. Fixed snapped timing belt and whipped that 'til I needed to go faster.

Bought a 91 STD with a shot clutch and DOHC ZC swap for $600.

Took out ZC, changed clutch and trans, and swapped it in my teal shell. The teal's DX motor was then laying around.

DOHC ZC swapped teal hatch was traded for sedan. 91 STD was laying around so I gave it to my buddy. We swapped in teal's old DX motor in the STD and had a running car.

Sedan was sold and I needed a car so I'm gonna drive 91 STD which was humorously enough, swapped from an MPFI DOHC ZC to a DPFI DX motor lol.

Now, does anyone have a DPFI throttle cable
