Someday when you're old enough to buy a house, you'll understand.

Anybody have the Energy Suspension master set in the EF? I have the entire set, but mine is for the DA, because I have DA suspension. I'm wondering if there is a bushing to replace the radius rod bushings. The DA one will not work. Maybe there is a EF specific one?

thats interesting. the only neighbors around here that complain must be at least 70+ years old. Is that how long it takes to own property? I already own some land, I just don't have a house on there yet. Do you have any cars on your block with car covers on then? thats exactly what my car looks like, old man.

Bottom line is...when you live in a community you're always going to get BS in some way from working on your car (let alone in the streets). Of course, if your neighbors are all chill with you then this isn't an issue but even I get **** for working on my car in the garage. I can see how the 70+ year old neighbors would complain though. Not like they have anything else better to do than hate .

IMO I wouldnt want someone cluttering up my street with a car that is constantly being worked on like a project. Bring it to the driveway at least. I mean if was a desperate thing such as a timing belt snapped and you had to change it ASAP, then thats fine. But dont tear the car completely down etc. Have some respect for your neighbors. It's called property value, and when someone clutters the area up, it makes the value of the properties surrounding it go down. Not to mention it is an eyesore.

But at least you DO clean up when you are finished and it is under a tarp. So you got it under control at least a little. I still would have taken it to a friend's place who had a usable garage or driveway for the project though.

/\ I couldn't agree more. A HOA (Home Owners Assoc.) would be on that like white on rice.

Nope. The streets are not private property. Read what b16crxt said. He's right. Would you rather come home to a clean neighbor hood or one littered with parked cars and stuff out in the streets? I guess if your neighbors are fine with it, more power to you.

"constantly?" hardly. io get out there one day a week probably. the other 6 days and 16 hours the car looks like a regular vehicle with a car cover on it.

thats why nobody likes a HOA. They make the most ridiculous rules. regulating things you can do to your own home like fence size?!?! thats ridiculous.

If my neighbor was doing a K swap in the street, I'd invite him over to my driveway/garage for that 1 day a week. lol . Not cause I'd be offended by the car in the street, but because I'd feel bad for him having to work out there.

Luckily my neighbors are cool. The only thing the lady next door likes to complain about is when she sees me trimming the edges of the yard and hitting the bottom of "her" fence with the gas trimmer...

Thats what i like to call white trashin it . When i have someones car thats torn apart, i work on it at the very top of my driveway, then i'll park another car directly behind it so from the street it looks less obvious. I also keep everything spotless (no oil stains, coolant puddles etc). If u saw my driveway, you wouldnt think i did anything but park cars on it. OR sometimes i'll push it in and out of the garage everytime i do work.

Though HOA's do make some pretty ludicris rules, most townships and boroughs have fencing regulations, it isnt atypical.

I try and conceal my wrenching to the driveway for my own privacy purposes. Can't stand neighbors and small talk.

My question is how do I use a SI cable on a DX/STD swap? Is my only option to buy a DX/STD possible?

I have to work on my car in my apartments parking lot, luckily i dont have to park on the street and we dont have an onsite manager so the only people that would complain are the other residents. The old lady thats lived here forever asked me when i was gonna get rid of my si thats just sitting because it's too ugly to look at.

When I was in school, I used to have to work on my CRX in one of the underground parking garages at UCSD. We'd be down there at like midnight changing out an alternator or a tie rod.. It sucked cause it was so loud if you dropped a wrench on the concrete, it'd echo for days. haha

One time the PD rolled through and asked for our IDs and registration to prove that we weren't stealing the car. They were like "alright, good luck fixing it! my buddy had an old Si. that was a fun car!" hahah

want me to sell you a DPFI cable? they're easy to come by in a junkyard, man. i think your Si cable would be too short.
