408wdy, when you had your black metal hood, was it satin black? In some pics. it looks semi gloss.

Edit: Now that the red x is gone, that hatch looks clean. I'm not sure about the purple wheels though

Adhesion promoter is a clear liquid when sprayed looks like a dull clear coat. When it dries it leaves a semi gloss finish. What it does is it slightly melts the surface and chemically hooks into it then allowing the paint to bond to the adhesion promoter. It works really well. A few years ago I resprayed a friend's CBR 600 and it is still bonded to this day!

I see. I like the look of it. Did you paint the hood and bumpers yourself? I was thinking of having my hood painted black, and I liked how yours matched the bumpers.

thanks mang. yeah i do all my own painting and work on the car. only help i have ever gotten for the hatch was chase doin the brake lines

i thought in 89 the JDM cars had the "ZC" front end? and the b16 hit in sept 89 as a 90 model with the sir crx and xsi integra...

your sig says 89 SIR.

 

that crx was sold a bunch of times in CA and it's a conversion i believe.
