And dizzy gets power from ecu, think the pinout is a21/20 which powers dizzy. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Thats what confused me. But i think the main relay is what powers the fuel pump. with no relay, the fuel pump wouldnt prime. everyone has been saying its a grounding issue. i have rechecked every ground under the hood. my battery is relocated to the back. do you think that would have anything to do with it? threaded a screw into the spot that the spare tire anchor would go. used a dremel to get everything down to bare metal.

well last time i tried to make my own wiring harness from scratch i discovered there was two wires that ran from the fuel pump relay to the ecu, and when they werent connected the ecu would not prime, and if they wer connected they would, If there was no ecu connected it would not prime at all.
I dont know about the battery, but one reason i never relocated to the back is because i hear alot of people running into problems.
Ill try and look at my helms

Your right, no ecu= no fuel pump.
Post the mpfi notes you used.
How u know the ecu isnt powering up? Does the CEl light turn on when u click the ign on?

I didnt read back past this page, but have you checked your Alternator solenoid fuse under the dash? It's a 10A and if it pops, the ECU does not get power. Neither does a lot of other things...along with the fuel pump.
it powers up because the CEL Light comes on when the ecu uis plugged in and doesnt power on when its not plugged in. im going to re-check my battery relocation because i just looked at a few threads where people were having problems with there car not starting after they relocated. if thats the case, im gonna shoot myself...

i just installed it. took me about 5 minutes. it's a well engineered kit.
looks good, matches the hasport mounts, and cleans up the engine bay without cutting anything. i'd recommend it to anyone doing a k swap.

Still like this one better though. Just not as easy to load in the truck for a track day.

that's cause it only has a 1 year warranty. after about 13-14 months, they start falling apart. lol waste of the craftsman name

sad but true.
the thing doesnt want to pump really. before, it was like 2-3 pumps and the car was a foot off of the ground. now, it takes probably 15 pumps.

ya, ours would only pump at the bottom 2 inches of a full stroke.. and the U-joint between the handle and the jack shattered, so we had a small pair of vice grips on that valve that we'd loosen to lower the car down. haha
haha, I'm using a Powerbuilt cheap POS jack...my car isn't even that low and I have to roll it on wood to get the jack under it
. Any recommendations on low profile jacks that I can buy at sears, costco, or HF?

LOL, on mine the yoke pivots wore out and werent tight anymore, thus causing the yoke to overextend forward and pull the plungers out of their bores. Fluid was everywhere.

Same problems, If you loosen it all the way and pump it five times then tighten it; it seems to work much better. Mine also has a puddle under it, cant find the leak to save my life

I'm so glad I bought this Napa low-pro jack. we have one at my work for lifting up golf carts. It's put up with an absolute beating for the past year and a half and still works as good as day 1.
Only problem is that its so low, sometimes it gets high-centered on small changes in the floor height. haha.
