maybe its just a grainy picture.... but i dont think those can be resurfaced within spec.

I've lost motivation with my car. I mean, im still buying parts... but i'm not rushing around to finish it by a certain deadline like i was before. I hope to have it finished for eibach this year, it'll be cutting it close. I think i'll have mine done for the EF meet in June for sure.

yea i'll do that more then likely.

it'll go like this "got the car running -- oh ****, i forgot to get my rotors resurfaced."

Then i will let my PRB pads do the resurfacing...we'll see. maybe i'll get some free time, get bored and take 'em up to the shop.

They really arent bad at all. the lighting on that pics makes them look like they are just about rusted entirely through though...

has anyone tried centric brake discs? matches up to brembo (both meet iso and qs standards). i would normally would automatically get brembos, but i keep hearing lots of talk on tirerack reviews about lots of rusting. even spraypainting the hub area doesnt seem to help much. the centric discs have some black powdercoating to prevent this.

I never touched the castle nut on the tie rod end OR on the lower ball joint...So...I'll borrow a jack tomorrow (my buddy is coming up and I'll tell him to bring one). sorry, i meant to post this sooner.

shake down the front end, you may have a severely loose ball joint/tie rod end that decided to show up since you unweighted/repositioned the front end.

Those dont look bad... i cant find a price on them tho. I wish i could find a rotor that didnt rust. Whats wrong with going to the honda dealership and using OEM?

a warning to those considering centric rotors.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=962481

also, car-stuff.com has brembos for 23 each and hawk pads for a good price.

honda is usually more for everything. they are 25 each on car-stuff.com. looks like i will order brembo blanks and satisfied gransport (GS6) pads. they have the same ranking of hawk HPS pads for stopping power, noise, dust, and are 11.00 less. also hawk pads are not carbon ceramic, they are ferro-carbon

well, I figured out why my hasport cable to hydro conversion made the pedal feel rediculously stiff. After changing my clutch last night, I was messing with the leverand noticed that it doesnt move very easily if you tighten the bolt too tight. I loosened it a little and it was fine. It feels like a stock clutch now.

Word. Brian at Fastbrakes actually told me I didn't HAVE to use the 4040, but I used it anyways.

As for rotors, vatozone for the win guys...don't waste your money. My advice is biased since my set-up chews up rotors pretty fast no matter what brand they are.
