I'm wondering if you had a spacer plate made to go between the ITB's and the head that would point the ITB's down toward the bumper, would they fit under a SiR style hood without having to cut in a scoop? Like a TB spacer, but angled

My Samurai is a little different. I ran over a Sidekick with it, well up to the top of the windsheild, then I backed down.

so go out there and test the car first before you make upgrades??
for most things (unlike appearance and cosmetics) there are standards to be able to compete.
I'm just trying to make sure I atleast meet the minimum standards before I go out there.</TD></TR></TABLE>
the most important thing is that the car has all the right maintenance items up to date(i.e: new pads, check all the brake lines, make sure all 4 tires are up to par..not a ghetto mismatching set, battery tied down properly, all safety items to spec...like if you are using harnesses, that they are mounted correctly, etc etc..). Go to the SCCA website and download a tech inspection list for Solo 2(thats the national class for auto-x)..and make sure the car is up to spec.

i don't think it's feasable. not with the TWMs. the haywards are believed to fit but nobody has purchased them and tried yet.

I have a 89 dx civic with a b18a1 swap. it has been converted to mpfi. I cant get power to my ecu. The plugs were cut to hell and back so i went and purchased uncut plugs and replaced them(double and triple checked my work). I have also gone thru 3 harnesses. No matter what i try, there is never any power to the ECU. I have checked voltage with a voltometer, there is power going to the ecu plugs, but it wont power on. I have checked grounds, re-ran ground, and double checked everything I dont know how many times. I had this same problem when i had my b16 in the car. I seriously need some help. I have searched every site imaginable. Is there a way to run a power and ground to the ecu other than thru the main relay. Some one please help. Thanks

main relay is good. fuel pump turns on with no problem. everything works except the ecu. the dizzy is even getting power but no spark (due to the ecu not firing up).

correct me if im wrong but, if the ecu wasnt working wouldnt your fuell pump not be priming since there are two green and black wires from your main relay running to the ecu which primes the pump on ignition? And dizzy gets power from ecu, think the pinout is a21/20 which powers dizzy.
