If you are trying to become stable and get your own place

Get all bills/credit cars paid off first before you make any large purchase
Unless you are finacially stable enough to do that
Worst thing to do is purchase a car on a loan when you already have previous bills to pay off. If the car is a DD and you are using it to go back and forth to work and something drastic happens to it, you have another large bill and you will only be setting yourself back in debt.

i agree with james on this one....

but, hatchmo..... RHD conversions are ******' lame bro. all that extra cash spent with no performance benefits. if its a real deal RHD... okay... those are kind of cool. but i think the conversions are a waste of time and loot. just my opinion though.

x2. After seeing many sucessful RHD swaps i still dont get it. someone tell me why it is cool, becuase to me it just seems like a waste of money and extremely impractical in the US. Hell i would buy an EF9 and do a LHD conversion

Just get an EF9 from Europe. I agree, the RHD conversion is a waste of money. No way would I drive around in car that's been hacked up. I think the jdm front is a waste of money too. All that cash spent and it's not any faster

I have been saying this for years. RHD conversions are absolutely worthless imho. The only way I would have a RHD car is if it was a Mugen Pro.2, and I imported it. I rode around with crxforum in his car, and there were situations when it was dangerous, like passing people on 2 lane roads, you can't see anything in front of the car in front of you. Not to mention the drive-tru problems, including toll booths, and customs. There is just no redeeming qualities, other than freaking people out with it.

Why is the JDM front a waste!?!

And why does everything has to be about speed? Why make your car faster when you can rarely use the added power legally? You do it because you can.

Because it's $1000 for a hood and bumper and a bunch of other misc. parts that are hard to come by. If somebody backs into a usdm bumper, you go get another one for $50. I fully intend to have my car on the track as much as the street, and as I've gotten older, I've realized less is more. Plus with mortgage payments, 2 other cars and a baby on the way, I'd rather spend the $1000 on something useful than novelty things for my car.

Don't get me wrong, the jdm front is cool. On a jdm car. If you're going put a b series in a usdm car, and buy the jdm front, why not just buy a real EF9? Then it would be all done, have a/c, power windows etc.

That's why.

RHD drive is a waste

And thats even coming from me

Nothing towards anyoen who has doing the conversion, plan on doing the conversion or already has the conversion.
Purchasing a RHD from Japan is even a waste

Unless you want "JDM FaN Boy Cookie Cutter points" it useless

If you are doing it because you want to then go for it. But to me its just a waste of money.
I don't think RHD cars are any cooler the LHD American cars.

In fact all the US people are doing this JDM trend **** while everyone in Japan is getting into converting to USDM...seriously. They have USDM car shows and ****.
I thought that **** was crazy when I first saw it. They probably get tired of looking @ the same front end over and over again, thats probably why they are doing. Same why we do it

but RHDs /= respect

I wonder if they convert to the 90-91 front bumper? Somebody could make a fortune shipping those over in exchange for jdm fronts!

That's not even secured...and that little trunk thing is pretty fragile. Although that's really cool for a street car, that would never fly on track. I do like the placement
