yup, i understand that. i drove my swapped 4dr eg down the interstate today doing 80 with the a/c on full blast. gotta love not giving up features when doing a swap.

sorta tempting to build a loaded ef.

i would have to get a rust free chassis for free.

mdx? how about a pilot? same thing for less, minus leather, navi., and higher payments. i'm hoping to have my ef "done" before we have kids. besides getting it painted, i've got all the big ticket items done.

i would be content to have just one car (a sign i'm getting older), but my wife won't learn to drive stick. and i won't have just one car that's an auto. so we agreed i would have an auto daily and the ef. works for me.

I found out my car can't blow the a/c in over 100* weather. It overheats. Granted I was driving on the interstate in 105* suck *** GA humid weather, but come on, it must go on!

The car's a bit dirty.

Yeah, I'm in love. It's got a/c and everything works correctly, unlike my Accord. Somehow I own 4 cars again. This makes Honda #11.

damn, super clean, DD to the max

As for getting a safer/more reliable/kid friendly car: I dont plan on having kids for a couple years. My gf is in the application process for medical school and i am too selfish for kids anytime soon I would really like to purchase a new car, i keep telling myself that if the beater ever gets wrecked or stolen i am on my way to buy either a wrx wagon or a is250 / ??

Almost done with the turbo kit, i am very excited to put it on, waiting on a seemingly endless list of knick knack parts to arrive

And to contribute some pix to the thread, i just uploaded these:
Textured charge piping (diy piping i may add )

I work for a mech piping contractor so we bascially build fluid piping and misc systems for building hvac systems:
Portable piping fab shop at 975'

powered everyday by:

Also one more for good measure: the rusty ole beater w/ 750lbs of piping support steel in the trunk

I'm not sure, it was a trade-in at a local Toyota stealership. BB is $2850, I paid $2200.

She was definitely garaged, the paint is still shiny. As soon as I get a chance she'll get a nice wash/wax, maybe some clay bar.

Damn thats nice as hell

Trade-Ins FTW

So I'm having a slight problem myself now...not with AC or anything

My battery is touching my Tranny side mount. Ad has been this way for a while but I never really thought it would get as bad as it is. The battery acid from the battery is now on the tranny mount and is starting to corrode the a bolt on the mount.
The whole top portion of the bolt has basically melted away.

So now I need to figure out what mount kit sit close to the firewall so I can replace the tranny mount with a new one.

Any other aftermarket mount kits sit close to the firewall out there for me to try??

I'm about to relocate the battery right now.

It was actually something i was planning on doing next month..but now I HAVE too

but I'm still stuck with a 1/4 corroded tranny mount. Atleast one of the bolts holding the tranny on is screwed so I will need to replace it in the near future.

Either buy a whole new B series mount kit ot just fix the tranny mount

stock header

this is all **** I wasn't hoping to run into right now

I was actually saving up to get aftermarket headers, battery cell, relocate, fix tranny, new mounts.
But now I'm screwed and have one step forward then end up taking another step back later

And all right b4 Nisei

it sounds like the clutch on the compressor cycling on and off. thats normal if the lines/evaporator get to cold the compressor will kick off till the lines/evap. are at the correct temp. make sure both fans kick on, you might need a recharge. sounds like wrong pressures
