If he's going to be hauling kids around, I agree. But I'm a fan of hatches, so I'm in for the ep3. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I took a 30 minute drive in the back seat of an FA5 the other day with a car seat in the middle. It's fairly roomy, easy to get in/out of. Driving it is amazing, you have no idea you're in a 4 door, it's like a little cockpit. LSD, 190 stock whp under warranty would be nice, too. I like the EP3's too, if they're hooked up right, but the FA5 is awesome. I want to trade the Fit in next spring for one.

Agreed. If I was willing to make car payments, there would be an FA5 in my driveway. It's a lot of car for not a lot of money.
I've got a b18c in the works and will be using a b16 head. Anybody know what timing belt to use? I'm thinking it has to be a gsr. Which would suck, becuase my b16 one is new.

who said you were against the masses. plenty of people on here like non-vtec, but for real reasons. honda never has had a problem with there vtec system, the only time it doesn't work is when some kid tries to wire it himself.

in cost too. the guy who bought my white ef has an 05 loaded ep3 and we have a standing agreement that when i want to buy it i can. i can buy his used ep for far less than i can get into a new si. i am not a big fan of car payments so i prefer to let someone else soak up teh depreciation and i pay the actual price for the car. and by the time i decide i actually like a car there are usually a ton of them for sale and the price has come down substantially. if you look around on autotrader used clean ep's sell for as little as 7000 with 60k on them. you can't find a 60k ef for that cheap. and the ef is not as safe for use as a daily/occasional family car. the fa5 would be nice but i am not going to pay the premium over what an ep can be obtained for.

the kids are the swinging point. have kids and you will start looking at other stuff in cars besides old school style/weight/swap-ability. i don't ever intend to own a car that charlie and josie can't go somewhere with me in.

i'll never sell my crx. NEVER!
i guess my ridgeline is me "moving on". which im debating trading it in for an s2000. but, i'm gonna wait until the crx is finished. i dont think i need 2, two-seaters.

Buy a Fit, they are cheap and you can have both. Or, you can have both, AND a minty '91 white sedan with 106k miles.

i don't like fits.
sorry matt and ryan.
the accord is on the chopping block first. lindsey gets a new car first since that is the primary mode of child transport. it's nice but it is getting up in miles and has some battle scars/scuffs. i'm thinking newer accord, she's thinking mdx (which makes me think about how much i hate car payments).
it all comes once she is done with school. i can't afford this stuff without her working.

Well, I purchased a professionally reman'd compressor. This will be my first one that is not used. Hopefully no more worries after this one gets in, but i have to wait a week or two for it since he doesn't have them on the shelf. I love warrantys
I know I know, the summer here is almost over, but I dont want to have any problems when it gets hot in May and I'm scrambling. Yes I'm a sucker for A/C
