ys1 can be ls, gsr, or b16, kind of sucks.

Most of the ys1 you're going to see are all LS though, rare to find a cable b16 or gsr in good condition

 

ok i pretty much knew it was ls cause my gears are so long. i have no complaints with my tranny cause its shifts perfect but i drove my buddys da with a b16 tranny and it was way more to my liking.

 

b16 transmissions are great, really fun, except on the freeway, if you have someone that does trans work and can get a b16 trans with a ls 5th, it would be a perfect set up

 

I have the short geared B16 YS1. Gearing is too short now.

 

Been on my list for a while now! Just far down it LoL!
Shoulda did it while I had everything apart a few months ago but at that point I was too busy.

 

anybody in here use buddy club low down seat rails? im pretty tall like 6'2 and i was thinking about using them with my stock leathers. good idea or nah??

 

alot of them were pretty close in gear ratios, i just remember i could get through the gears really quickly when i needed too,
but a b16 trans with no vtec head=very low top speed lol

Alignment is a VERY important aspect on a car. I would get it done asap if it wears tire like that. I don't know why people overlook alignments. Maybe I'm just **** about things like that, but I've had like 4 alignments in the past year (due to suspension changes).

 

i keep telling myself im gonna get my alignment done but because of suspension stuff i keep postponing it. im gonna have to bite the bullet get it aligned even though i have a few things im gonna be doing to the suspension so ill have to do it again.

on another note i just got a killer deal on these tires. posted for 100 i lowballed and gottem for 80 there brand new toyo proxes 195 50 15 that this old guy put on his older Porsche but they were rubbing so i got a great deal and im pretty happy i can get rid of the 205 50 15 falcon ziex bullshit

if i still had my DA i'd pick up a set of 16x8+0 and rock those, i daily drove that car to work any every where else so buying wheels that are $1500+ seemed like a bad idea haha
