whats the fluid level like? did you check for a leak or a blown out line? a sudden drop in pressure would most likely be a broken line somewhere i would think. when my slave and mast cyl went in my crv it progressivly got worse over 2 days. by day 3 i could start the car but could not get it in gear at all. can you select a gear when car is at idle?
edit***** wait clutch cable or slave cyl? you have one or the other. do you have a hydro swap? if your running cable its prolly the cable snapped

so i was driving the da last night and i was shifting to second at like 2.5k and all of a sudden it felt like it was gonna stall and then clutch had no pressure. im thinkin clutch cable or slave cylinder because i would think my clutch would of givin me signs of it going out. what do you guys think?
Probably cable and it's probably the clutch cable that went out on you. No real signs of going out. Last time mine snapped I was able to make it home in 2nd gear!

its weird because when my clutch went out there was no warning signs, it never slipped or anything like that, one day i got into my car started it up and it wouldnt go into first gear. Dropped the trans and the clutch was completely gone

yeah mostly i see eg's everywhere. the da was the black sheep of the honda world for the longest time. wasnt till the last 5 years that companies started pay us any attention.

but when your clutch went out did the peddle still have pressure cause mine totally lost pressure. im 99% sure its the cable and its going in after work. this is the first thing that gone wrong on my car in the 45k miles ive had it.

you can't be serious with this..... You might not have been paying attention but 10+ years ago there were companies making DA parts and good ones. and I';m not talking bullshit H22 and K20 swaps either. Just because you weren't in the scene to see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Just because the DA wasn't the most favored chassis among the newer EG's and DC's, there was a pretty solid market for them. It's just that most of those companies 10+ years ago aren't here today and most of the parts they made and sold are now discontinued and hard to find. It's those kind of parts that I strive to find.

You just need to have your pictures hosted somewhere, ie. on Faceboo, flixr or Photobucket.
Easiest way is to right click the image and copy image location.
Then here in a reply, select the picture and paste that location into the popup.

Magic city lol, just going out for a few days to get out of louisville. One of the last trips of the year until i go to arizona for the winter. Yeah there were alot of companies that made parts for DA's that are disscontinued now. I wish i would of stock piled parts when i had my db2 in 1999 lol
