tag 1: JH4 DB2 tag 2: 1G9S9R2

I'm leaning more towards the first one, but the second one is pretty nice too.
I daily drove a car with historic tags. Worked on base and never had a problem. It's a lot cheaper.

I don't know of any enforcement on the limited mileage thing.

down here it's pretty enforcable. I drove a ford galaxie through high school and a bit after. It wouldn't pass inspection so i registered it historically and every time i took it out i would get hassled. I finally fixed everything wrong with it and re-registered it normally.

I don't think there is unless something happens and you file an insurance claim or something and there are mileage differences.

Thanks Matt, I really am thinking about going the historic route, I mean my teg is not my daily and I usually only drive it to meets(except when its warm out and I go on cruises). I think it would be awesome if I didn't have to go to emissions, I could really tear the teg down and make her a beast!

On another note, my girl talked me out of trading my SI in today. I saw a beautiful '08 acura TL type S 6 speed online. That is a beautiful car! Well she calmed me down and told me my car is almost paid off, wait and we will finish paying her car off and then we can save for any car that I want. I hope to get a bad *** car within the next 2 years, but the question is, what do I want?

Eh, what the hell. I'll play. Here's mine:

These going on it soon after I lower it:

Picked it up back in august. It has 133k on the clock, all stock, unmolested, garaged it's whole life, two owners. Everything works I can't wait to start modding. It's my DD so nothing too crazy in the plans...

For some reason, I trust you fine H-T folk with my license plate number. No idea why. Guess I'm just too lazy to block it right now.

The bad choice would of been spending more money on something you don't need.

Super clean man! Don't mess with it too much, keep her as fresh as possible. They're becoming harder and harder to find in such condition. Subtle modifications will take you a long way... Maybe we can meet up one day. Hope to see you around!

Thanks!
Definitely bro. PM me if there's any meets going on
Subtle mods are what I was looking to do Things I was thinking about adding...

B18C1 GSR swap with hydro conversion, 1 piece OE headlights, type R recaro seats, suspension mods (thinking about GC/koni with poly bushings), perhaps a manual seatbelt conversion, and fresh paint in another color. Thinking of dark amethyst pearl or milano red? all in due time of course, no rush on any of these mods. Maybe a five lug conversion at some point with ITR 16x7. I wanna use as many Honda parts as possible. Other than that, just keep it maintained and such

I think you missed the whole idea of being subtle.

i think i'm feeling the same way matt is. not tryin to be rude or anything (at least i'm not), but imo, subtle went out the door at swapping the motor, changing the color of the car, and maybe the seats (kinda on the fence on that one). the car is a true b17 gsr car, correct? all original, 2 owner car. why tear apart a perfectly good gsr, especially when they're getting harder and harder to come by? especially in the condition yours is in.

i think the car would be extremely clean n subtle, but still stand out with the suspension setup and 5 lug swap and 1 piece lights. but again, this is MY opinion and obviously in the end, its your car.
