lol what are you looking at getting? i'm pretty happy with my daily for right now. just need to get a/c back in it and i'd be set. i'd really like to drive my da again but at the same time, i have so much i want to do to it/fix on it before i put it back together again. the control arms were a start since the bushing in my stock ones were beyond shot. next i need trailing arm bushings and a new shift linkage.

other than that, i cant decide if i wanna drop the money and finally buy some rods and all that go with putting together a fresh bottom end (already have pistons) and then put my gsr head on it and then drive it n/a for a while til i get a turbo setup for it, or b) replace a few gaskets on my rebuilt ls, find a cheap turbo setup and throw it in for the time being, or c) the first option but also re-spray my bay since it got all messed up after doing it the first time.

really wish i had the money to do all 3 options plus do the body work and paint to the outside of the car as well, plus get wheels. ugh, too much to do

 

^^^ I just bought the basic Meguiar's Clay Bar kit, took my time and it turned out great. I think parts of this car have been repainted so that helps the shine.

 

Don't get my wrong, I LOVE my CL but it is a 98, although it only has 130k on it. No real issues with it either. I keep up on maintenance so it'll last. Just want something somewhat fun to drive everyday.

Yea they are cheap but with nice tires they are worth a bit more, I figure $500 is half way between low ball and too much.
I really just want to sell them while they are still nice, I need money to put back into the car and the wheels are a means to that.

Schools done now it's time to get to work on the DA for these track events. signed up for a Porsche Club of America autocross, then doing a circuit event soon after.

need to replace my windshield, rear brake pads, flush brake fluid again, change oil with some fresh royal purple, change transmission fluid with motul for the honda gearboxes, lower car more, get aligned at West End

Being in the canyons was a weekly occurrence back in the days. Right after that video got pulled over and never been to a canyon since and started up really doing auto crossing

cool video. I used to do that kinda stuff all the time up in PA. Its about a 45minute drive from me so i'd cruise up there, beat the hell outa my car for litterally 4 straight hours, and then cruise back home.

matter of fact, i still go up there and cruise around from time to time but i dont usually go "all out" anymore.
