DA Integra's Only
what's shakin' fellas?
Haven't been on here in a while, but figured I'd share a few pics with you naggers.
She ain't shiny. I just think flat black looks totally boss.
She ain't slammed. I live in Pittsburgh, the roads here hate headers.
She's running a B18a1. Its built right. All-motor, high compression, flat torque-curve joy to drive.
Anyone else a nonconformist like me?

I don't want to sell her, but I need some benjamins.
Hope you guys dig her half as much as I do.
-Chris

i think i have revo up front i forget what kind it is but i need some for the back but i might change the front to the skunk2 and get skunk2 rears
Mainly the fact that it's given me no reason to think there's a benefit over a modded stock one. Benefit over stock, yes, but a modded stock one?
The design of the FR from the get-go seems less than ideal. I think it could have been done with ground clearance in mind. I also don't like the angles of the radius rods. Well, I guess not the rod itself, but the mounting location for the heim joint at the end of the rod. The radius rod and the mount for it should be parallel so that the heim joint has equal movement in all directions. This is not the case. I'm not sure if it will cause binding, but from a fab standpoint it just seems lazy to me. That combined with the handful of issues w/ the EF piece they make and I'm just not that confident it's as perfect as everyone makes it out to be.
And in regard to the strength conversation we were having previously... I've seen a hacked up stock crossmember (think swiss cheese) being used on a race DA. Personally it did scare me a bit and I wouldn't do that, but the owner hasn't had any problems and didn't see any extra flex in the front end because of it. I've also heard about some failures on FR parts for road race cars. I didn't really want to mention those two items because they are not my personal experience and should be taken purely as "rumor". I can't talk to their validity, but they are coming from sources reliable enough to at least make me second guess things.
As I've said, I am running the FR and will continue to. I'm not really worried about it failing and I would recommend it to others if it fits their needs. I'm just a bit skeptical, and if I had the time and resources I'd definitely mod an OEM piece or fab my own front crossmember.

yea i went threw 2 purchases of which was supposed to be ys1 gsr trannys but turned out to be ls so im just gonna stick with my ls tranny
i got jdm b16 trans 5 years ago when my car got hit (very minor) and they ended up totaling the car. i got $2800 after i bought it back for $150. i fixed the damage for 200$ and then spent the rest on a xsi swap from jhpusa that i found a ballin spoon intake mani gasket on it. i just put the trans on this car and it ripps so much harder than that dog **** ls trans. i cant wait to drive it again.
