I love my orange bumper lights! "ricey"" or not!
What do you mean stiff? As in the clutch peddle is hard to depress?
If so that is not right and the pressure plate is probably binding up.
Is it an ACT clutch and flywheel by any chance?
it should not be that hard and is most likely an indication of a problem. Although since your Hydro it could be numerous things though. Maybe something simple.
Had the same problem years ago with an ACT unit.
Most aftermarket clutches are easier to depress than stock units. I have a CC 6 puck in my DA, when I had my stock CRX, the clutch in that was harder to depress than the DA.

im not even sure, it was in there when i got it. i was curious about it being the hydro conversion too. ive never known it to be any other way though. can you replace the pressure plate without replacing the whole clutch or does it all come together? ive never had to replace a clutch before.
You can purchase a pressure plate separately but for what it's worth it's easier to do both at the same time while you have it apart.

Not sure where I could look up the plate to see the exact vehicle it came from, though.

not to mention the possible piston to head contact. if i were you i would install a tad thicker head gasket.
It's just a generic plate number for a passenger car. It follows the standard pattern of one number, then three letters, then three numbers. Since the first number is a 6, its a pretty recent plate.

...it has oct 09 tags i think?oct on the left and 2009 on the right in blue got them off ebay?
whats so basic about ctr pistons with a gsr head lol not a combo i would do personally to risky with piston dome to head clearence
oh didnt notice 2 other people posted about that combo yea i would be very carfull with that combo and i wouldnt run anything under 93 octane. does it ping like crazy
it has a cometic head gasket but not sure what thickness. its tuned on hondata for 93 octane. i beat my friend in his s2000 in a first gear roll, i pulled in every gear. i didnt build the engine, he said the head and block were milled to fit flush so that would probably raise compression a tad as well. i dont know much about engines but i can tell you it runs pretty damn well.
the kandys in gold should be around 100 each, call dustin flickner at JLB and tell him youre an HT member, he gives discounts. super awesome place to buy stuff from.
