why would you need to replace the sending unit unless its failing? j/w. if its leaking, just put thread tape on it and put it back in

thread tape won't do a thing if the unit is leaking through the connector.

yea i was just gonna replace it all together im not sure exactly where its leaking from im gonna have to clean it up and let it run while its on the lift its leaking under pressure more then just dripping from say the oil pan gasket. although i know its needs a gasket and a plug and plug washer. but its oil dripping from the sending unit also im gonna replace everything but the seals not trying to do those right now

Hmm, yea doesn't sound like IAC but who knows. I mean I was running for years with a dead IAC and never experienced issues.
Good luck!

Hey Matt, I'll forsure let you know if I got more questions, lol.

I'm trying to pull off a large intercooler while keeping my 91 bumper and optional OEM lip. It's going to be damn tight but I hope it turns out ok.

PS cars looking good. So nice to see more clean DA's with NO tinted windows. I *heart* fish bowl integras. It just looks clean

Thanks!
I think you will be able to fit it, just no room for the grille and you will have to cut up the support too.

it's all subjective.
Bryce?

You said it's subjective, yet you are trying to disagree with someones opinion? Then guess you don't think it's subjective then?

Anyway for what it is $200 is a good amount of money to spend on a car most of us in here drive for pleasure. But then again guess it's all subjective, right?

You rub me the wrong way. I make PLENTY of money. That's not my point. However, I'm not going to beat a dead horse. I've voiced my opinion and that's that.

I have the big full race intercooler, it sticks out like matts, but I have the JDP lip, and it was worth every dollar.

Juda I have a couple of those I believe, if you just replace the gasket though you will be ok

Realized when dropping it off at one of the inside slopes for the gasket its chipped some. If the outside and groove is good it should seal right?
