are obd1 and obd0 alternators interchangable..? brothers obd0 alt. went out, i have a couple odd1 ones laying around i could swap.. would it work..

what does the igniter have to do with the alternator?

pretty sure they obd-0 and obd-1 alternators are different. i think the wiring is different.

Because the igniter is inside the dezzy and are the #1 things that go out.

^this. i've interchanged them several times on several different vehicles with no problems. the obd2's however are different.

lol yeah im not sure. i havent looked for any jdm da parts for quite a while seeing as how i've had no money since april and just got back to working again about a month ago. still tryin to catch up on bills
