DA Integra's Only
that site has become completely F'in worthless. everytime i ask a question that one *** moderator chimes in and tells me to search. like i havent already and sorted through a million worthless threads that dont even relate to my topic because their search function sucks. its sad that it use to be such an informative site and now just sucks.
i'll see whats up, the 92 bumper looks kind of stupid without any lip on it but we may have one at our house hanging around somewhere, i'll check it out for you
ok guys i have a dumb question. My 90 DA is throwing a code and i'm not sure what it is. It only throws the light after i'm driving for a while. it doesnt throw it when i'm idling. any ideas?
I recently bought a 1990 DA6 and have a slight issue with the drivers door window/seal and wondered if you guys might be able to help.
When you close the door, the window doesn't pop under the seal properly so you have to close it with the top of the window to get it to sit correctly.

Ok, so it seems there are 2 trains of thought on this - either adjust the window or replace the weather strip.
When i close the door with the window up and the gap is present (only at the back end of the window), i can lower the window slightly with the switch and the glass pops back into line again and sits flush with rubber seal on the door aperture. I then raise the glass with the switch and there is no gap.
It's as if the rear 1/3 of the weather strip is stopping the window from going all the way in. The front of the glass sits under the strip correctly, but it passes under the strip and to the wrong side of it as it progresses to the rear of the door.
If i close the door with the window down slightly and then raise the window, the glass goes under the weather strip correctly. This must point to the glass alignment being ok and the weather strip being the problem - would anyone agree with that?

Sorry to keep asking, but as someone mentioned up there ^, searching on G2IC isn't the easiest of things to do. I'm not being a lazy ***, i have looked.
Does it sound like i need to adjust the top of the window inwards?
Or does that fact that the glass sits correctly when you drop it then raise it (or close the door with the window down slightly, then raise the glass) mean that it's more of a weather strip issue?
hope this helps
