Keep in mind that this was prior to me being able to work on my own car. So, the dizzy went out 2-3 times, which as you guys know is not cheap to have replaced, because the dizzy went out my exhaust exploded (long story), spark plugs and wires had to be replaced, alternator had to be replaced, clutch had to be replaced, front brakes went out while driving, and by went out i mean something snapped, and i had to use the ebrake for 3 days, im sure theres more, but keep in mind all these repairs were because the part on the car wore out, not a modification as most people think a clutch and ngk spark plugs and wires are. ALSO, the car has been hit 3 different times, which gets old

yea its through import sports, steve talked to him, and that is what he said, so hopefully I can get my mani back in time for the meet....

And come to find out verzion screwed me too, I ordered the incredible on the 10th, the guy said it should be to me on the 14th, well it is the 18th and it isnt here so I stopped by and they said any phone order on the 8th, 9th and 10th the phone should ship out by the 29th. wtf? I used an early upgrade because I am not due until the 30th, why didn't the guy tell me this crap? All they see is dollar signs and ****. I would not have spent an extra 20 bucks if I knew I wouldn't get it until it was time for my upgrade........ just needed to vent.

Ah ok cool, at least its with some reputable guys, for Import Sports!
Gave me some free wrist pin locks when I randomly called him and asked him if he had any.

Dave, so my cars faster than yours right now
Starting to take it apart tomorrow after work!

I'm over Verizon and their terrible customer service and phone selections. Droid phones are cool and all but still no Iphone. I will be switching to AT&T in July for the 4G Iphone.

right now that sounds like a good idea, when I was in the store there were literally 5 people at different ends of the store screaming and yelling about their service and plans and charges to the account they have no idea what they are for......

but they will all renew their contracts. people bitch about bad service, but never do anything about it. Why would verizon change their ways if people keep paying them for it?

Yes sir!
I've had nothing but problems with my phone and they keep replacing it with the same problematic phone. Won't do anything else, finally I asked if they would offer me a discounted price on a new phone, they didn't, I'm leaving as soon as the 4G comes out.

Personally, I'd shop in this order:

1) Paint/Body. This is irreplaceable. Once the factory paint is damaged, it'll be gone forever, and you'll never achieve that same paint from a shop - at least w/o multiple multiple thousands of dollars - and even then it's debatable if it compares.

2) "Stockness" Something that hasn't been touched - AT ALL, is priceless. Obviously, it depends on the mod. Something like lowering springs isn't a big deal. But an alarm siren screwed to the firewall - no way to get rid of those holes w/o paint and body work.

3) Interior. Good interior is hard to find, not impossible, but hard to find. And even then it'll be worn. You may think it's in good condition, but were you able to compare to brand new, off the showroom floor condition, you'd be amazed.

4) Engine. You'll be replacing this regardless, so it doesn't much matter, but having all the stock brackets, screws... and what not is nice.

5) Suspension. All of this will be replaced as well, and not really of much concern. Regardless of the car having 20k or 200k miles, the bushings and other components are likely to be shot from age or mileage. And even if they weren't, you'd be replacing them for performance upgrades anyway.
I agree with you on this, those were also my pointers when buying a vehicle...

Duma you paid someone to change a distributor? really all you need is 1 tool to replace it... i hope you didn't pay for anything except maybe the alternator and clutch job.

anyways, I haven't driven my car in two weeks can't wait til schools out.

Distributor King has a pretty good reputation. I'm using one of their distributors currently. Probably the best option compared to a brand new OEM unit.

Matty, this is back then when i was only 18, and i had no job/money and was going to school, so when the dizzy went out, parent paid to fix it and they'd rather have a professional change it. The alternator and clutch were done at my girlfriends house

edit: oh yeah, fixed the problem with my car, my alternator belt got ripped up and wrapped itself around my axle

ha, no. actually he's a car guy so we got to talking one day while i was in there and ever since then, he hooks me up when i'm having problems. honestly, his service is the only reason i'm still with verizon. it sure as hell aint cuz of their prices!! i'm just afraid i wont get the same kinda of service if i go somewhere else
