Im in a dilemma right now. I broke my passenger side tab off my OEM Opt. Lip. (Ill eventually repair it but i cant stand the look of it being naked.)

Debating if i should pick up the JDP Front lip or be patient and redo the damn thing.

any input helps.

 

I heard theres a decent wait on the JDP lips so it probably wont be a fast purchase. Maybe you'll have it repaired before it even shows up to your door? Not sure just what I have read many times that expect to wait a couple months.

Word. I'll get one eventually, but I've never heard of any complaints on quality/workmanship.

so i started looking at cheap 4 doors in the area to take a few parts off of and ended up impulse buying two cars last night. I am going to get one running again and sell it and i am parting out the other.

 

herb posted on facebook that hes looking for a cheap rust free car. maybe he would take one off your hands. and how does one buy two cars in one day? def looks like you got an exhaust for me! ill be hitting you up on prolly the 30th through the 1st.

im stoked to get home to my car in less than 2 weeks. i think i may cry when i see it or maybe hump it a little. thanks to bee18see1 and rob for the parts to help me get this thing back to utah!

no sweat brotha. I really think you might want the exhaust off my car though instead. It looks practically new and the only other exhaust im taking off is on the one in the garage but its a 3 inch one.

herb, if you are road tripping you should swing by this way with colby. Maybe we can all grab a drink or something somewhere in the middle. neither run at the moment but i was going to make a complete car out of the two after i take off everything i wanted and sell it.

 

I was planning on following colby to va with my silver teg if I can get it running safely in a week with no issues. More then likely I will probably buy another teg or some Honda, I really want a Db1 with ac lol

 

what issues do you have with your car? Last time i heard you took it apart but i didnt think anything was wrong with the car. DB1 with ac huh? i will keep an eye out for something down here if you like just in case.

 

ill take what ever one you wanna give me as long as it doesnt leak. from what i heard the cops in park city ut. are crazy when it come to load exhausts. they will look for any reason to pull you over. profile hard as hell here! i wont even wear a hat when driving though this town. im going to have some gaskets waiting for me at my old dealership. also going to be geting my alignment when i go to pick them up.

my plan was to pick up herb and then head through ohio to pick up some a-arms from bee18see1 in columbus but i can pay him shipping to send them to my parents house. i had planned on getting to pa and then the next day or two after heading down to you rob. id like to meet somewhere in the middle and we can all grab lunch and a drink or 5 and then head back. im going to be driving 5k miles total i think in a week and a half. i also have to go pick the car up from a farm in jersey the day after i get home.

hey rob, any front speakers in one of your cars you wanna part with? im trying to get this car road ready for as cheap as possible. still catching up from the 3 months of being out of work!

 

oh rob, do you also have one of these. its the coolant switch for the temp settings in the cabin. its #1 on the pic. my car has temp spikes when driving with the temp set on cold. ive replaced the stat, fan switch, wp, and bled the car on four different occasions for over an hour each time, fan kicks on about ten times everytime i bled it. i can only drive with the temp setting on hot to keep this from happening. and 2100 miles with the vents blowing hot air is going to be bad.

 

Just got a Teg again two weeks ago after many years away. 92 GSR 130,xxx kms.

Nothing is wrong with it, I just don't have the time to get it back together and I'm looking for something to daily drive. My teg has no wipers, heat, ac, power steering, cruise control and it still has the stock motor in it lol. I don't want to drive it until it's completely done... Meaning repainted and swapped.
