What all did you get, such as brand and spec?
It's a tight fit man! Right in the area around my radiator, turbo, wastegate and charge piping there is no space. It doesnt even look like I will have room for a dump tube. Have to make something with crazy bends!
And I'm even running a "small" frame turbo!

I moved there in 2006 and moved out in 2009. I lived off Avent Ferry.
My wife went to NCState. I was stationed with the AF in Goldsboro.

 

I would make that trade in a heartbeat. The MR5's have potential, you can refinish 'em, rebarrel them... But I'm a fan of MR5's and not really a fan of OEM wheels except on a beater, so I'm a bit bias.

those 14" mr5's are gonna look REALLY small on your car, but mugens would be a big step up from blades, just dump it

 

I'd trade my blades for those MR5's. Ehhh, But i wont worry about that till i get my car running/looking like it just came out the dealership!

 

making it look showroom floor status is gonna be really hard/expensive haha unless you're just referring to paint and body

 

naa. i just want everything to function properly again. for example, my climate control and the its lights. interior, such as carpet and panels. and yes, paint and body work most definitely! then i'll worry about show room floor status. haha

 

Your original statement seemed backwards to me... if you're not starting w/ a MINT exterior it's going to be extremely difficult to get a "showroom floor" look. It's going to mean stripping the car down extensively, expensive paint, new moldings/seals, new clips, often new glass... It's VERY rare that you find a car which has been painted, that doesn't look like it's been painted. If you can do that you're the man!

Engine bay (excluding paint), interior, and suspension are much easier to spruce up to near mint condition.

They are real Mugen's. The paint on that car is original factory paint, which means it's Frost White (OEM white for 1990 is Polar White, 1991-1993 is Frost white).
