Juda I ran axles from a a on my car forever at 400hp and never had and issue..I cracked the boot once and just returned it...I did end up with new aftermarket axles but that was just because I got a crazy deal

And yes they do make koni for the da's...I spoke with a vendor and there in the magazine

Last time I went there were a rash of cars with fake front mounts, like the front mount was bolted up and in the bumper but had no charge pipes at all, LoL!

I had an axle blow up a couple weeks ago. However, I don't have money to buy something different so I just went and had it replaced. They vibrate a little during hard acceleration but I deal with it for now.
edit- advance auto gsp axles

Almost worth it just to go with OEM axles...don't know what the hell works anymore...things are made to fail and their junk if you buy them from an auto parts store

500 bux for a set of axles is expensive when you think about it but I would rather spend 500 bux now for a set of axles that lasts me many years than having to keep spending 150 bux per axle to get it replaced everytime something goes wrong with the damn thing ;-)

japspec b16a's kick ***...put mine in with 66k and now around 100k...thing is a monster and running strong on the stock clutch...vtec = rediculously loud...plus the compression is better in the b16 than usdm

yea they pull really hard.As for the Vtec yea that hoe is STUPID loud but i like it tho. got mine with 80k nd around 100k now also still running strong

Deff man...i got mine in back in March of 2008 and it is probably the best running engine I have had in all of my honda experiences...I have had some little issues here and there like with the vtec solenoid but minor stuff that was easily fixed but other than that, a great cheap investment no doubt ;-)

I remember one of the first outings I had once i got the b16 I went up against a BB2 and actually pulled on the darn thing, and over the quarter mile beat him...and this was without a tune up! DA's FTW baby :-D

B16 and pulls hard don't belong in the same sentence

I spent $400 on my Avid stage 2's a few years back. Were great up until last year when my OBX LSD ate one. Now I'm rocking Advanced axles.

my car's idling is pissing me off, it jumps from 1-2k until its warmed up, then it just drops down to normal, it takes a long time to warm up because the thermostat stays open i guess. So i'll probably replace the thermostat and then clean the IACV hopefully that helps. Is there anything else i should be looking for while im working on it?

IAC may be dead but give it a cleaning first to see. Just to be sure double check for vacuum leaks too. But what you described sounds like a bad IAC. unplug the IAC and see what happens.

my friend is going to take a look later today, he cleaned the IACV before and it helped a bit but not totally, so he said thats another valve under the throttle body that he's going to check out and see if that fixes it, im pretty sure i have no vacuum leaks because i double checked all that when i did my swap and it was idling at 4k lol

What is this other valve you speak of?
MAP sensor is under the throttle body...

Probably the FITV (Fast Idle Thermal Valve)
And the MAP sensor is either on top of the throttle body,
or on the firewall.
