i didnt mean, just a vtec head lol, the list would be....
vtec head, arp headstuds, oil line, headgasket, gsr oil pump, gsr water pump/timing belt, arp rod bolts, obd1 conversion harness +ecu +dizzy probably leave it at that and run stock internals besides the rod bolts

It doesn't make much sense to crack open the block to change the connecting rod bolts and not upgrade your pistons.
I built a b20 bottom which made greeeaatt power (238 whp, 150+ tq) with a ported vtec head with s2s2 cams. One thing I skipped that I would recommend you do is the block girdle, like what's on the b18c motors. Stay away from block guards on b20's because they tend to put the sleeves in tension and cause cracking. Lastly, he's right about no boost. Boosted b20's don't last.

Put together by edomoto, <--- check link in my location. Sadly he never got the chance to use it to it's full potential, the car was stolen about a week after the build.
BTW have you seen this in person about the block guard? I'm just wondering, I never heard about that problem.
Check out my buddies build. CTR Cams 3 angle basic valve job not even ported and he made 234hp and 170lb torque at the hubs.

i can believe it. on a 2 liter, because base b16 cams can peak alil over 200 whp on a 2.0. plus that dyno is to the hubs so its more than thte whp reading if it were a rolling dyno
Factor in 13-14% powertrain loss, still a very potent build.
Don't take my word for it. I'm just showing you guys what else is out there. Whether you believe it or not is completely up to you. I'm no bullshitter and I wouldn't have posted this in the first place if I didn't have 100% confidence in the builders skill level and that the results were true.

hey guys, need some advice.
So i think im ready to put in some work and sand the paint off my front and rear moldings, what would be the best way to go about that, should i just tape it off and go to down with the sandpaper or is there a better/easier way etc.?

1200 Hobos- replied to your pm. It's a 2 1/2 I was going to go 3" since I plan on boosting in the future but it would be too loud NA and I like to drive my car around.
As for the hood prop, I'm not happy with it either. If I had a choice I wouldn't prop it at all but I need to do it to clear the H2B setup. At that height, it still tends to hit if you slam the hood.

i think its necessary for his h2b set up. Edit: i didnt even see his post right above mine lol
on another note, got my car back today, they put the transmission in, hooked me up with another half shaft and axle, and put my polyurethane insert into my rear mount, car feels great now
