If you someone buys your DA, they'd probably make 2 grand just parting it out. A lot of stuff there for the price.
If it's becoming a burden, I'd just store it for awhile, take a break. If it really is something that you've had for forever I'm sure it holds a certain sentimental value. $4k is practically giving it away for the time and money it looks like you've put in it.

That it is, it is a steal. It does hold some value as it was my first car I purchased with my money. It was also a project that my dad helped me start before he passed away, so that holds the most sentimental value.
I guess I will see how it goes.....
I was thinking about what I need to do today so that I would drive it more. Def need to try a new TPS on it to see if it fixes its part/low throttle driveability.

I have gotten 3 hits on the car thus far, one wanted to trade me a CRX plus cash.
2 are locals however I am unsure about their motives, have to be sketchy in this area.
Waiting to hear back from them.

I would never sell it. Just store it until you get motivation for it again. Even I loss motivation for my car for a while. Then suddenly I got back on it and spent almost a $1000 on suspension stuff (Steering rack, inner tie rods, outer tie rods, bushing kit, rotors, and a bunch of other stuff i have sitting waiting to go on)!
Money is nothing when you don't have something enjoyable to have fun with throughout the days
. I'm broke, but I have fun driving my DA everyday. Once I finish my suspension work, I'll be back at autox's and circuits at every possible event that happens if time permits where I'm not busy with school.

I went the opposite route and got a super light resin ball **** (Trust GREX) and it gave my shifts that "gated" feel. The Skunk **** makes shifts feel like poopslop unless you have a short shifter (and those suck too).
GOD, I hated that shift **** when I had one. Way too heavy. Not only that, it gets hotter than the devil's jock strap.

That's funny because for me it's the complete opposite. I had a super light buddy club type A **** on my DC with a short throw, it was ok but too too light. It felt like I was putting my hand into the trans case and selecting the gear I wanted with a fork in my hand. After trying out the skunk2 **** on my friends DA I liked it a lot more. It felt like a shift **** should, it offset the weight of the linkage, forks and gearing and shifts were much smoother as a result.
No worries on the heat getting to it.
More toys in the mail today:

That's the reason. I mentioned that in my last post. The heavy **** with a short shifter isn't so bad (if you like short shifters, which I HATE), but the heavy **** with a stock shifter (especially with the notoriously sloppy DA linkage) is no bueno.
lol
I guess I'll have to see how it goes tonight. My clutch is on it's way out so that won't help at all but I still think I'll like it. Comparing my DC set-up to my DA set-up currently, the stock DA shift **** is very light so I've had trouble getting into gear the way I shift (very light and smooth shifts). Just the shifter is stock which I think can be tightened up with the hardrace shifter bushing kit I have left over from the DC.
No way I'm getting a short throw though, I hate those probably as much as you do. There's nothing worse than a short throw for your gearbox.

I have a spoon **** which is plastic and never gets cold or hot. and its lightweight, feels great to me. I've had a weighted **** and its nice too.

The DC linkage is thicker and gives the shifter the "gated" feel (along with shorter throw). It also gets rid of the play that the DA linkage gives you in neutral and when in gear. The shifter itself is dual bend placing the shifter closer to the driver, and it just plain looks better too.
