i just randomly started thinking about this and maybe someone in here can help me real quick... does it make a difference if i use my half shaft out of my jdm b16 or my half shaft out of my jdm type r? i'm pretty sure all 5 speed ones are the same so i'd rather use the one with less miles... thanks

not too sure. if you can count the splines see if it matched up. or try to insert the cv shaft your gonna use into both.

no cause the axles for a b20 are pretty thick compared to a b18. just try it out. can always swap out the end knuckles if needed.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it matters. I think the 96spec ITR uses the same axles and halfshaft as most of the other VTEC B-series engines...it's the 98spec ITR that has different ones.
