Ur an idiot cause all I did was answer a question a few days ago and then got flamed by people telling me I'm wrong... and I answered a few questions... how does answering a question make me look dumb?
Im just trying to give you my knowledge, esp of cams. Those cams will not be great for you setup, you really should take my advice and check out Pro 1's or Pro 2's, hell Blox makes the P-1 which is a copy of the Pro 1.......

Your answers are great and in depth however they appear straight scrapped off a book, like Brice said most of us have been doing this forever..... For future reference all you need to say is something like stock LS block, with B16 head and CTR pistons and chances are 80% of us will know what your doing.

Okay and didn't I say just that from the beginning? I was asked what my build was so I wrote b16 head b18 block with ctr pistons... Omg I understand that you are making suggestions and I appreciate all imput from everyone but don't come out and call me dumb because I know what I am talking about and write in detail... Because it seemed as though mattb16 was mistaken... And after my tune if I am wrong and my cams don't give me the numbers I would like then I be the first to admit it... But I don't pull **** out of my ***... This isn't my first engine build... And I was in no way tryin to step on some ones toes...

well lets just say that most of the regulars have been in this thread since we joined the forum. Matt has had so many combinations in his motor that i think he's usually spot on and i would believe him over you considering your build so far. Recognize your audience and realize that sometimes you are the lowest common denominator.

See now this is what I dont get I did fvckin say my set up and then you told me I was wrong to say I would be makin the compression I said I will be making... I take all advice I can get but I would rather see what the dyno says... I made those "book like" responses because I thought you were confused as to how I came up with my comp numbers.
i have a tendency to do that to people, not gonna lie. Not trying to be a dick so much but just know who your audience is. most of us in here know how to do what you are doing already. we all have different opinions but overall just have love for these cars
any way I do like your car... and I cant see anything I dont like minus the seats... but shyt looks sick

I sold the car back in march of 2008. I dont have many pics of it left.
It had a JDM b16 swap with skunk2 IM, edelbrock 65mm TB, AEM intake, gsr cams, AEM cam gears, exedy clutch and flywheel in S1 b16 Trans, with HKS hi power exhaust.
the seats were Recaro SRDs with the confetti print. they were comfy and cheap.

well I am a big fan of cheap lol I just like the non reclinable buckets beter or some era specific recaro's like the ones from the late 80's gti's...

What is the purpose of your build, weekend warrior?
Did you do any extensive head work such as porting, are you running stock valves?
I've found that cams that big need some sort of head work to make power where they need are designed to which is in the high RPMs.

****, if i had someone that was gonna let me test out cams for free i'd be all over that! especially if they were a dealer. means he'll prob work out a pretty good deal on them for you

it is just a weekend warrior... and I have a mild polish i didnt port anything out and I am getting a 3 angle valve job soon... and my intake mani is guna be polished and port matched...
yeah my girlfriend grew up with him and has been friends with him and his girl forever and I haven't asked him for anything cause I thought it would be mad grimey but he came outa nowhere and hooked me up with great prices on everything and said he would help me with anything... he even has hooked my boys up with some good deals... so I cant complain lol... I mean I try and help him out as much as possible too by reppin his company and bringing him customers... so yeah its great and I have just been networking the past 2 years and making sure I have connections with anything I need...
but even with everything Albert is a great dude and if you need parts or services and you are in the north east hit up certified
