BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
I didn't know there was one, thanks. So today i bought a complete AC setup with everything needed, white gauge coves,Halo's and projectors. All for 25 bucks.

And Yeah,so the winds are up to about 90mph here and its snowing like hell. I'm in my house and here a "BANG" and my alarm go's off. I go outside and see the drives side covered in this sick looking crap and this big *** filter to a swamp cooler next to the car.I now have this nice size dent + scratches on my door and quarter. I went to let the lady know but feel bad cause she is old and hella nice, but i need to get this fixed.

also, is that all you got for the projectors? looks like you're missing the projector bowl and glare shield that all projectors needs. it won't work without those other parts. from your other post, it looks like you have HID, are you trying to make a retro-fit with those projectors?
looks like the wires on those gauges are cut off and did it come with the control/power box? without it, it might not work.

I know there's a DIY on how to do this, but i just want to share on how i did it.
The projectors came out of a DA one piece headlight. The one piece was broke and so i rescued the part's out of them.
Well i started by taking the bumper off. I then took the headlight off and used a blow-drier to heat it up.
I pulled the glass off the housing and got to work.

I took to OEM blocking thing out and cut the back of the projector reflector to fit over the HIDs.

Now the projectors lined up just right,so i didn't have to do much to level them.

I used a can to cut out some raps to go around the projectors so the light will stay inside and not come out making the glare spread out.

I also got some LED strips that you can cut,i put them inside just for fun. I think it came out good, you?

Now i put everything all back together and here it is.

ouch kiale(91_LS)...you can't make a retro-fit out of any projectors, especially a 2 inch projector. you also cut away too much of the reflector bowl....doing that will eliminate ALOT of light output. you should of done more research.
Thanks guys. Yeah I'm going to have to redo it. The bowl was cut already,i only cut just enough for the bulbs to fit. Its good for now but I'm going to have to do some more cutting to get it right. But hay,its my first time and i had no help so i think i did a good jub so far.
more cutting will just make the light output worse...looks like you need a whole new projector. also, 2 inch projectors are usually used for fog lights and produce less light. you're gonna have to get a 2.5 inch projector and a projector that is DESIGNED for HIDs. you can't just get a halogen designed projector and think you're gonna get good output with HID bulbs. especially in a fluted len. with the set-up you have now, your light output is as much as your signal lights.
IMO...i think you FAILED your first retro-fit. you used the wrong projectors and you damaged the reflector bowl. but look on the bright side, at lease you didn't waste too much money. like i keep on telling you....do MORE research.

Well for one,i did RESEARCH so please stop telling me that. And the projectors are not from fog light, there out of the projector one piece headlights that was fitted with HIDs,shows what you know. Just because i didn't do it you're way don't mean you have the right to bash me like you did. And like 91 crx savage said, its built not bought. I still have some work to do to get it the way i want, but you are also forgetting about the glass itself not being clear,so its not going to look like yours,so PLEASE if you got nothing to contribute to this thread other then to point out my mistakes like you and Courtney do on G2IC,don't post on this thread. I am so getting sick of it. Thanks.
you're a member of this "built not bought" thread, but all you ever did to your car was add another lip to your existing lip then used skateboard grip tape to cover it, installed side skirts that ANYONE can install and bondo a monitor to your center console. you didn't even install your suspension because u has a thread on g2ic last year stating how you were able to rip-off Les Schwab for strut installation. you didn't even swap the motor to your ride, you had Redzone do the complete swap.
SORRY im being a dick....this has been an on-going thing for over a year.

dude...kiale, i know a good amount when it comes to electricals and HIDs, ALOT more than you. how can you tell me that those Projectors came out of a Headlight when they're 2 inch projectors (average HEADLIGHT projectors are 2.5 to 3.0 inches). look how small they look in your headlights. Also, you said that those projectors came off an aftermarket one-pieces, but guess what...all the aftermarket one-pieces never had projectors for the low beams, they had it for the FOG LIGHTS(like what i stated previously). so that means that you are using fog light projectors. if you did research, why would you cut apart your reflector bowl or even buy projectors with a damage reflector bowl? one of the biggest rule when it comes to a retrofit...don't damage the reflector bowl, any damage to it will effect the light output. and you cutting it up shows how much you DONT know. the evidence is obvisious that you don't know what you're doing. if i don't know anything about retrofits....compare my retro-fit to yours. i know you didn't do any research because you stated on g2ic that you wanted to do a retro-fit, and that was just last week. of course im gonna point out your mistakes, i know you personally and i wouldn't want someone i know do all the wrong things. i tell you things that you need to do to do it right and you still don't listen because you like to be a know it all, then you mess-up and do exactly what i told you NOT to do, like over-reving your motor (thats how you got the white cream on your oil cap), painting your rims, and having the wrong side markers.

sorry to tell you this 91sedan kid, but kiale(91_LS) doesnt meet the qualifications to be a member of this thread. ask BarShawn, he knows Kiale personally.

yeah sorry crew, idk whats wrong with these guys but ill say know more. And 91sedan_kid,sorry about the rant man. I didn't think these guys would come on here to bash me and try making me look bad. All they needed to do is let me know what i did wrong without the smart *** remarks. If you feel I'm not worthy to be in you're crew,go ahead and take me off,no hard feelings.

kiale,
I would not trip off what some of these people are saying, first off it just seems like there are certin people here that are hating on you and it seems like they follow you from forum board to forum board. There are after market one piece projector hid headlights that have the low beam as a projector it is a matter of what company you go with. Out of all the different cars and all the different manafactures of projectors that can be chosen to use im sure you will find one.
As a example the 94 to 01 integra uses a projector low beam if the bumper is removed its a one piece case and point it can be disasembled and used. also there are one pice projectors for BMW, lexus, mercades, toyota, nissan, and the list goes on that have low beam projectors. For some one to say after market one piece headlights have never used a projector for the low beam they have obviously never expanded there knowledge base on one piece projector headlights.
Also didn't you say you removed them from a headlight assemble that someone else had put together, theres no way anyone can tell for sure where those came from. What i will say is simple a fog light does not have a halo ring but a high beam does a fog light on alot of the after market one pice headlights have more of a slight oval shape and the high beam is round and what i see you have used was the lens base of the high beam projector not a fog light. This base can be used for a low beam it just intensifies the light beam and you need to compinsate with the proper alignment of the beam as to adjust for road glare.
also there are 2 inch 2.5 inch and 3 inch projector bases. All projectors that are 2 inch are not automatically by defualt fog lights for example the early years for altezza had a halo projector with a 2.0 inch base and with the halo ring it extended to 2.5 inches.
And one final thought when people say Built not Bought i ask them this
did you slave over the kelm in your back yard to forge that p73 or p30 piston,
was it awsome to have all that machinery in your garage to design, cast, and create those valves, spring, and retainers
was it nice to have a hot tank to boil that block to clean it up and check for cracks, or even the crank and rod caster how hard was it to pour that molten metal to design those.
You see i can go on and on but my point is this at some point every single person paid to do that build
when i see built not bought that does not mean just because he had his car done at redzone he bought it. What that does mean is he had a plan he set out and accomplished his plan. motor swap, tranny build, suspension install what ever it may be not to mention the other stuff he has done and it was done the way he wanted it done to his specifications which means he had plans if he had plans that insinuates he was building something now to ricers maybe thats bought but to us OG's who have 15+ years in the scene thats built.
Answer this Jack Roush pays to have all his work done all his cars built and all his racing teams on the track is everything he personally has done Bought Hell no he personally built his entire empire..
yeah sorry crew, idk whats wrong with these guys but ill say know more. And 91sedan_kid,sorry about the rant man. I didn't think these guys would come on here to bash me and try making me look bad. 90gs-96gsr: You prove a very good point. We have been over this many many many many many many times.. and i will say it once more..
Not everyone has the knowledge or proper tools to do all the work on their cars which is COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE, But the concept BUILT NOT BOUGHT in THIS thread means you HAVE put in wrench time into your OWN car not just always dumping it at a shop for every little possible thing. 90gs-96gsr im not saying your thoughts are wrong nor disrespecting you in anyway but in this thread thats what build not bought means. IF people have a problem with that then they can feel free to go look at the hundreds of other thread on H-T.
so with that being said... ITS PEANUT BETTER JELLY TIME! where he at!, where he at!, WHERE HE AT! THERE HE GO!, THERE HE GO!, THERE HE GO!

Im on threw my phone and new on here so still getting the hang of the site but ill try getting some pics up to what's done so far to my civic. Went from stock to having halo lights, foglights,si spoiler, apexi n1 catback exhaust, off brand headers, not sure what brand rims. When winter is over I will have a fully built h22 motor turbocharged, lsd tranny. And future plans after the motor and tranny is in are 15 inch og axis rims, skunk 2 coilovers.
