Yeah they are going to total it. You could possibly start getting parts off of it before they classify it that way.

 

they wouldn't let me take any parts off, but I did take my subs and amp and belongings. but didn't get my deck out in time. But I got receipts for most of the parts. So I should get reimbursed for that.

 

Now that I think about it, you know where it's at right? Lets say insurance makes their decision and classify it as totaled. You could make a mad dash back to them and get the parts off afterward However, you would have to basically pay for those parts again

If your car gets totalled you can buy it back from your ins. comapny for dirt cheap and then take whatever you want off of it. Typically most ins. companies WILL NOT give you money for aftermarket stuff with or without receipt. I have over 12k in receipts and if I wreck my car and it's considered totalled I'll get 3k from it. Let's just hope it's a rear end collision haha.

 

The car is already en route to the salvage center to decide whether to total it or not.

yeah I got receipts for the motor and tranny and my rear disc conversion. so they should reimbursed me for that.I know they wont reimbursed me for my aftermarket parts.

 

That is definitely going to be total.. My friends car got backed into and all it did was damage the front bumper and the hood and they wanted to totaled it.. -_-".. They salvage it and he bought it back for dirt cheap and had his family shop fix the problem and the car looks good as new..

Talked to my insurance and they said I had very good chance of winning, because I have a credible witness. I should have a estimate of how much I'm getting for my car by next week.

i plan on converting it to std cus its auto but i couldnt pass up a deal of 400 either. Mods after that are either a fully built na b16 or b20v, but for now i hav a ls w/ gsr tranny thats going in it. My most major mods i wanna get done is getting it running, dumped on tokico blues with ground control springs, n slapping on some rota track-r's

yo no update on the eg right now, next week when the sun is out(raining atm) i will be putting on the sway bar. just like the point of this thread i will be putting it on myself lol

Also got my fog light to work again! so much better. also put on the boost controller that i had and now im boosting at 6psi. Feels so much better. And also today me and my cousin buffed out my front end. Came out cleaner and smoother. loving it!

 

You might be ok but when you go sideways like that your oil is pushed to one side of the oil pan away from the pickup, only sayin this cause I destroyed a 50k b20z doing the same thing.

 

i remember when i was boosted on my single cam back in the days, it was so much fun. i can picture it on a b-series. lets see some pics after the buffing. i am a detailing person myself too.
