I've been busy as **** with work this week, what a facking week. Glad I'm off for a few days now.

I might have found a GS-R motor for my GS-R, w00t B17 FTW!

 

They aren't Rs's. If they were they wouldn't be winter beaters. I found a set of rs's i was really thinking about buying but the want like $1600 for them. They are completely refinished.

I'm trying to find cheap ones to rebuild but not having much luck.

I've got an odd idea lately, I'm thinking of tagging (graffiti) my rear filler. Seen it on a few cars and I kinda like it. Might get a spare filler and have someone tag it.

 

that would be sick. ima hit up a picture on my friends hatch of his ek. like two koi fish w/ water and cherryblossoms and wind, gonna be siccc

Well folks, didn't know how I come about introducing myself with this group thread...so I'll just put myself out there. Thanks for the welcome as well as the compliments and opinion. Like I have told people many of times before, dont care about the stock 3 piece, owned a set of JDM 1 pieces, some bitch broke the drivers side, too hard to find and replace one side and too expensive to purchase another set. I like the 1 piece headlights that I have now and are readily available at a much better price than the JDMs. Besides, I dont want to look like everybody else with the same lights, but everyones opinion varies.....

 

so some peeps may have or may have not seen my teg i posted well sadly i got her out and running and she spun a bearing about 4 days into the brake in process ..... so i guess im out a dd again for a while but its all good im picking up a B16A yes jdm longblock for $250 so ill be doin the LSV again :D and ill be looking for a new ls crankshaft soon if any 1 on here has a good 1 pm me price and shipping to 80031 thanks

 

well im pisses off at the world at the moment my EM1 was stolen last night. the car was stock and had suspension work. it was sitting on special edition rota circuit 10's. inside the car were all my parts i had for a tune up which i got the day be4. i had a brand new cometic head gasket and brand new hasport Eg mounts for b series swap from an older car. i had all new fluids for the car honda tranny fluid some lucas stabilizer. i also had some **** in the trunk like a jumper harness for ob2a to 0b1.

THE CAR BETTER RETURN TO ME OR EVRY1 IN MY AREA IS GUNNA GET ****ED UP AND ***** GUNNA START TO DISAPEAR IF MY CARS NOT RETURN'D..

 

i wasnt tryin to bash on ya for the lights man. its cool. but i understand what your sayin about the price of the jdms. why do you think i dont have them yet? lol. but i am a fan of them so i will some day. but not at that point right now. what wheels are they by the way? they're sick!

Oh no, I wasn't trying to take offense. Its just everytime I post my DA on a thread, someone has there opinion about the lights I have. I just got tired of paying all that money replacing the JDM1 piece and still looking like every DA or DB. (I recently gave away my old passenger side JDM piece)

As far as the wheels, they are some 10 year old Tenzo-R C-type wheels (copy of the Racing Hart Type-C). They were scuffed and scratched really tough and showing there age. So I figured it was time for a facelift. I took the center caps and tires off, sanded, primered, painted black and clear-coated them.

To compliment the exterior part of the car, I went ahead and painted the stock calipers and powder-coated the wheel locks red to keep a black and red theme going (even my intercooler was painted black).
When my budget will allow me to next year, I'll get the rims sand blasted and powder-coated gloss black!

been stuck on base and havent been able to post for a long time. got home this week and finally put on my lip thats been sitting in my room for 6 months.

 

Alarms FTL, my back is shot guys. Still not done either, I'll have to wrap it up another day or pay my buddy to do it.

On another note, any read much about H2B? H22s are damn cheap at the local importer.

 

H22's are cheap but the type r tranny isn't. How much does the plate cost to bolt the tranny up? And then the mounts.

 

$750 for the QSD kit, I'd use my YS1 trans, no sense doing a hydro conversion imo.
Mounts are another $350 but you can use motor mount inserts if you don't want to use aftermarket mounts.
