someone wants to sell me one for 400$ but im iffy about it. i've heard negative comments about the tranny going out easily

 

my friend used to have an xsi tranny and he'd beat the ever livin dog **** out of it alllll the time and never had any problems. but, that was an xsi, i dont know how the b17 trannys are

My friend was running a stock b17 trans in his 10sec 500whp ef 4 door, it was rebuilt with oem parts, but still it was stock, and shifted like butter..never had any problems with it, and I watched it go up the track probley 30 times myself...

How many of you guys have jdm itr clusters in your da? How hard is the install?

Same here I have an ys1 in my 400whp da, 160,xxx miles on it thing is mint...

But anyways, im just wondering if the modifications are hard to do an itr cluster or does anyone know where this is a write up?

Swapping a new cluster is a bit of a bitch because you need to convert to a electronic VSS.

I've got a ys1 with 233xxx km on it and it grinds at high rpm going into thread.
