i know everyone's car is going to take them forever to finish, but hopefully he didnt get charged alot for the car just to bring it back to oem when he could have bought a stock one. gonna be interested to see where he takes it, should make a build thread

Actually i got a cavalier gave to me by my girlfriend she got a new car so i traded the cavalier for it and the cavalier was knocking... and i already had a 1989 honda civic dx that i was driving so i gave that to my friend to help him out when i got the DA because i fell in love with it instantly lol. Cant wait to get some more cash saved up to do more to it, i paid 400 dollors for both bumpers, both mirrors, hood, tailights, the orignal integra mud flaps, and original integra floor mats. Wasnt to bad.

 

You should of went to a parts yard for that stuff. It wouldn't of been half of that price for the parts

 

yeah thats kinda steep for just those parts i got a front bumper w/support & brackets and lights for 65 bucks, bother front fenders for for 40 a radiator for 40 and my hood for 11 bucks and the stock lip off my old bumper, and picked up a 1st gen lip for 5 bucks ^^ gonna see what i can do to make it fit!

 

X2 the parts yard by me....bumpers go for like $30 tail lights and headlights go for $25..could have save big bucks...but anyways, atleast your bring that car back..

haha thanks for the positive comments guys. i quit smoking 2 months ago btw!! hahahaah. yeah those prices are kind of steep for those parts but atleast the car doesnt still have a body kit. he MIGHT be able to sell that kit to some noob that just saw fast and furious

think everyone is so busy now with the holidays and with finals just ending it feels good to just chill. at least thats my excuse than again im not well known either lol but im sure its the holidays. im just staring at the calendar another 2 months or so before i can start engine project on my car.... happy holidays all

 

Haha it's cool man. Setup is a jdm b20b with a jdm short geared b16 trans, with a couple bolt on goodies. She put down 144 hp, 128 tq.

At the meet, there were 2 other DA's that ran on the dyno with their stock LS's, and I couldn't take my buddies bugging me to put it up against them anymore lol. Peer pressure ftw, but the other DA's were putting down around 123 hp with their stock motors, so I figured mine did pretty goood for what it is.
