Quest for 400 whp help.
It looks like a great setup for the strip which is where it spends a big portion of the time. I figure since Im getting such a good deal on it I can try it out at least. I have only felt a handfull of big turbos and I love the lag because in the end it is like switching a lightswitch of boost. Honestly the GReddy is TOO streetable for me and I want something with more lag LMAO. I love the graphs. I guess what I am going for is hitting 400 whp and then seeing how I like the lag, if not then I can sell it and move down in size.
It is probably like the T51r spl turbo we used on the rx7s...light switch of boost...but holy **** hold on!
I guess chime in and ill check when I wake up...but I will probably have it by tonight unless I change my mind or have it changed by H-t!

like i said in a previous post i have .82 and i 80% regret it .
its really nice on the highway considering 5th gear 65mph im at 5k rpms
but besides that any street driving that i do is pretty slow its all lag i would rather have a super 60 ,63 hell even a 3076 but its all depends what you want.
yeah you will most deff hit your goal.
it doesnt help that my compression is rather low as well tho when i pull on the car its like mmmmmmmamaammm???...wait for itmmm BA@@@@@@@@@@@@ no traction
good luck to what ever you decide on. what out for the coppaas.

Well, based upon your preferences, your T67 will give you the "lightswitch" power that you're looking for. But be warned. It may be like an RX-7 for the characteristics, but you are FWD!! That lightswitch power = uncontrollability (without Slicks).
While the person with the better sized turbo has a smoother powerband and a broader torqueband than the T67 owner, this means that he will actually be ahead of that person for a good portion of a "race" before the T67 owner has the ability to catch up because he is busy trying to control the "lightswitch" power in the FWD application. Just like cleansi described.
there are several other choices that are available besides that, but if you've made your decision, you should be all set.

I went against everyone's recommendations and really don't regret it. We did a lot of tuning and the turbo spools nice and consistent and makes full boost before 6000 all the time. The lag time is not two gear drops to make power....one gear down and I can lose traction. Tried to take it to the track today but got there too late. Looking forward to BOTI and great times. Love the turbo though....!
why thank you. I just didnt want people to google the thread and not get the turbo because they read all the cons. I wil post numbers soon after my retune. broke three hundred mark easy now time for the 4's after I get used to it.
