Default Is my downpipe too small for my setup/powergoals?

Im wrapping up on my GSR turbo build but need some advice.

Should I buy a full 3 inch downpipe for my setup or is the 2.5-3" downpipe i have now ok for my ~400+ hp goal?

tune will be done by Tony Palo @ T1 Race Development if that matters at all lol

My Setup:

-Motor
81.5mm GSR block
9:1 JE Pistons
ARP Rod bolts/ Head studs
Eagle H-Beam Rods
Supertech Dual Ti Springs and retainers
GSR Cams
Victor X manifold
Omni 68mm throttlebody
1000 cc RC injectors

- Turbo
Fullrace a/c compatible ramhorn
Tial 44mm wastegate
.60 cold/.63 hot Precision sc6076 w/ S cover (4" inlet)
2.5-3" downpipe (dumped under shifter)
2.5" intercooler piping
Tial 50mm BOV
29" x 9" x 3", 2.5" Inlet & outlet no name intercooler

any help is appreciated

thanks,

Josh

I'm making well over 600 with my full 3" exhaust. Shouldn't be an issue.

I have a similar downpipe and made more power than that with a much milder setup, so I don't think you will have any problem at all.

i know when i was having issues on the dyno tony personally recommended me check my flex pipe design... if the flex pipe design looks the same on the outside as the inside it is recommended to change it to one with interlock liner.

http://www.statracing.com/buy/vibrant-flex-pipe.asp

he said he had a guy switch it out and picked up like 80 horsepower or something ridiculous like that because i guess it was sucking it inwards and creating a bottle neck...

thats the only thing i would check on it... good luck to you
