Default more power=transmission problems

Went to the track today for the first time all year since the new build and at high rpm's I had a lot of difficulty changing gears, from 1 to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd. The only way I was able to get it into gear was to shift very slowly and of course this is not the best for good times at the track. I wasn't able to shift quickly because it just wouldnt get into gear. My clutch is fine. A friend of mine is thinking it might be the shift cables which havent been changed. I have a 1992 Accord making 375whp on a boosted h22a. The clutch is not slipping and the transmission shifts fine while driving it on the street, it was really just at higher rpm's. Any ideas? Thanks

Clutch isn't fully disengaging. You either have air in the line a bad master or slave or to much freplay in he pedal and need to adjust the rod length

never heard of "clutch drag" before, but thanks to another member here who mentioned it, I d found that this could be the problem. But again the problem only happens at higher rpm's

Definition: Drag

Clutch drag occurs when the disc attached to the clutch pedal continues to spin even after the clutch has been released.

Symptoms: Drag
Clutch drag is usually recognized by difficulty shifting gears. This may or may not be associated with a grinding sound.

Causes: Drag
Causes of clutch drag vary depending on clutch type. Generally, some common causes are problems with binding cables, pedal brackets and the master or slave cylinders.
