The Official SOHC Supercharger thread...
is it allowing gas into the vacuum line?
replace the FMU
though I personally HATE FMU's ebcause theya re a cheap crappy "tuning" solution
maybe its time for a chipped ecu and a proper tune. would easily add horsepower simply because it can safely and speedily adjust the fuel better

this guy:
why the hell do you have an adjustable FPR and FMU?
get rid of BTOH!!! adjustable fuel pressure is useless for you!!!!
get rid of the FMU ata tuner, do a full tune.
are you using stock injectors?

So ive had a spell of bad luck this weekend and my belt snapped and my belt tensioner pulley seized. What was that website that sold replacement parts? My car is stranded until I can get them so I need help asap!
It'll run just fine without the belt to the supercharger. Only thing is you won't have an alternator. If your battery is good, you'll be fine for at least a full hour of driving or more.
The bypass valve will let in enough air that it'll run properly.

I had a great battery in my d15b2 civic, would use less electricity, I struggled to get across town before having a friend jump and charge for a few minutes. 15 minute drive under normal conditions

you do realize he gave teh same part number for both?
and you can use B series pulleys as well
I would expect you to get teh motor re balanced since chaning crank pulleys means the motor becomes un balanced and can lead to issues down teh road like premature bearing problems, or excessive engine vibration

looking to find a supercharger for my car, anybody have any ideas ive been on craigslist and posted on marketplace i cant find anything right now.
Hey guys. I have a Hondata s200 I wanna finally install on my setup. Are 310s okay to run for injectors? I have the boost upgrade and see anywhere from 5psi to 8psi of boost on average.
Hi,
I upgraded my setup(Old thread 7.5psi: https://honda-tech.com/forums/showpo...postcount=1169 ), put a Cometic Head Gasket, ARP head studs and a custom 3.11'' pulley, now the car have 9psi according to my datalog and 10psi at peak at the gauge.
Got only more 12whp in the whole rpm band and lot more torque, the car is funnier to drive now and the boost build fast. Could only tune until 7200rpm, after that my fuell injector ended and can't do more power...

does anyone else have an issue with the Idle Air Control Valve bunging up every couple months? I've had to clean it twice since I put the JRSC on.
Treated the s/c like a turbo as far as intercooler and piping to the tb.
Running around 12psi from 1.5K to 7k.
pictures! you know with a DIY or otherwise custom setup you need to show pictures
how else are we going to steal your idea?
ha ha ha
hell it takes 20 minutes just to load up teh computer, considering its all RAM or cd reading. no harddrive yet lol
Welcome to my life....its kind of funny, we live in the same area and have the exact same problem.
The problem is not the pulley, its the alternator bracket itself. Jackson racing supplied a offset alternator bracket that shifts the alternator inward for clearance. If you never got it, then you would have to take the bracket off (a humongous bitch) and mill it or purchase one (if you can).

Do you still have the Y8 alternator bracket for the JRSC for sale?
Where you ever able to figure a work around for not needing it?
I've read the full Sohc Supercharged thread and came across your posts regarding needing the JR crank pulley and lower alternator bracket for the y8.
Is it possible to just use the y8 crank pulley with the jrsc y8 kit? I don't want to lose PSI having to use the JR crank pulley if possible. I'm also missing the lower alternator bracket and I'm hoping for a work around.
Thanks!

I tried running the Y8 pulley on my S/C but from what I could gather it gave me some belt alignment issues. The Y-series kits are offset towards the passenger side for MBC and shock tower clearance. If you line the Y8 pulley and the JR one I beleive you'll find that the ribs do not match up. Thus by necessity, you'll have to run the JR one for now untill you can source a factory JR crank pulley or a smaller S/C pulley.
Hope this helps.
I guess I missed that. First time I read (or noticed) about alignment issues when using a y8 jrsc on a y8 engine was on page 46.
All the other alignment issues were for others using the incorrect charger for their engine.
