I actually have to get some EV14's for my Edelbrock rail. 450cc's overkill??

I am running a JRSC on Honda D15B7 stock install. Going on 40k miles. 6 psi ^boost cold air intake, stock injectors. I installed this when the motor had 179,000/dial It just passed Bay Area SMOG today at 223,xxx. It still not bruing or blowing oil. Good stuff eh?
Just a heads up on what. Hoping for some feedback.
Other than the kit the car is mostly stock. The Fuel injectors and stock fuel system including the bits and pieces provided by Jackson Racing. I am hunting up some injector recommendations. Mass produced, anybody try the Accel 24/lb 255cc injectors. Stock is 235cc/min

How about a specialty injector company for a balanced set and precise delivery volume? any experience with this and forced induction?

Fuel injectors do just plain wear out. These are getting replaced with something that gives the maximum drive-ability and the least SMOG problem. Right now, HC's are a smidgen over the average and I know it is running lean due to the compressor. Suggestions ? Cant get away with much of a fuel management system for the street in 2013.

Trying to avoid chipping and it is a OBD1 anyway...

Thanks !

I actually got a chipped ECU from Phearable, and my car wont run with it. Sucks. I have been meaning to get in touch with them and see what the issue is. I am back on stock ECU and Innovate MTX-L. Keeping an eye on A/F ratio but it seems to be 7.9-9.0 at idle and 22.4 WOT.

I am not going to worry about it until I hear from Phearable. Sucks I spent the money on a basemap and the car wont even run, even if I were to go to get a tune.

What injectors and mapp sensor was the base map set for? That afr is very rich for idle.]

I highly doubt theres a JRSC'd SOHC making that much hp, reason i say this is the B series hardly can make that without heavy mods, my old B series stock block was maxed out at 12 psi with 91 the JRSC was fully built with a LHT water to air intake manifold made 285 WHP.

Why not just drive to your Tuner with your stock ecu and install the chipped ecu and anything else there and have it tuned?

Since the boost is constant is it better to have short gears to get up to speed or is it better to have longer gears like a turbo. I need help here, my last purchase is due which is a transmission so i need to figure what to get and quick! All help is greatly appriciated!

Get a short geared trans with a higher final drive so it revs faster. A aftermarket final drive from M factory would be a good idea.

All help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot!
Contact your tuner, At least have him set a base map on your ems and if the motor is fresh you need to break the motor in on a safe base map, after its broken in dont boost or beat on the motor Make sure the motor is running properlly and then when your ready to tune, go to your tuner and tune it.

So I have a d16a...and I purchased from Craigslist a y8 jrsc kit, it didn't come with the jrsc crank pulley so i had to shim the charger pulley away from the engine about 3mm to make the belt line up, it runs well but I'm only seeing 3-4lbs of boost and I think it has to do with the larger y8 pulley on the charger (looks like it's almost 4") causing the rotors to spin slower with the smaller crank pulley that I have. I did a search trying to find what size crank pulley the d16a has with no definitive answer (I'm assuming a6 sized?) to get more boost I was thinking of y8 crank pulley (because of dampening) and 3.2 4 rib snout pulley. everything else on the 95 delsol is 4 rib, already have tons of room on the shock tower. what are your thoughts? What would you expect boost to be at?

Hey Guys,
New to this forum but I thought I would jump on and try to help out with a few things after reading the thread. Ive recently rebuilt a civic that came to me with a JRSC on it. Ive been looking for pulleys new or used to buy anywhere for it and the only place you can find anything is through ebay it seems. If you do a quick google search it will tell you that Pulley Boys carry it. But when you look at the product its for a different generation all together. Ebay is just as bad, although every couple of months I do see things come up, just stuff I already have. I'm running the 4 in pulley on my set up running 5 psi.

My mods so far
Wiseco pistons 75.5
Eagle rods
Crank polished and balanced to 20k rpm
JRSC crank pulley
wahlbro 255
FMU from JR(currently getting stripped)
RC 550cc injectors
Also adding a 100 shot kit to it.
I will post dyno results soon.
Tuned on Neptune
switched to OBD1 for chip and tune

The car was literally dropped off this past Friday to the tuner to get everything finished up.

I will be running it in the 1/4 mile and will also post results for that as well.

Someone on here was looking for the alternator bracket. I am looking for a better one. The one they give you gets the Sh*t beat of it and the bolt they use to tension is super inefficient.
Ill attach some pictures of my set up here as well.

thanks
