This is the same offset im getting. So from what I have read and understood. I need a new intake mani off an older year setup? They should all hook up with the blower and the different mani's just push the blower out or in due to different car models's. Let me know what you guys think. I need a solution asap.

thanks.

Also can any of you d16a6 ef guys post a pic of your map sensor hoses, PLEASE

thx again. Hope to have this all taken care up asap.

ahahah ok now to answer my own question lol. I did look into the part #'s off jacksons jacksons old moss motors site this is what I found...

http://supercharger.com/graphics/BOMS/989-000.pdf 051-417 was the part# for the 89-91 intake mani

and

http://supercharger.com/graphics/BOMS/989-201.pdf 051-647 is the part # for the
99-00 civic. Im not %100 on what car my kit came from but due to the clearance problems Im pritty sure its the mani.

Well now I got to get a new mani, which is fine the old one was kinda messed up from the previous owner. One of the mounting spots that held the fuel rail down was modded by the previous owner, looks like he had an after market fuel rail and choped it up to fit his set up. Well glad I might have hope. I cant wait to boost.

Bump for this thread.

I like all the red hoses, that looks pretty sharp under the hood.

The hose just goes where you will see boost. That is if your not running a FMU. I tapped mine in where the fmu Boost/vac tap was. The single tap on the drivers side.

farking told you 15 or 16 times already. your vacuum lines were perfect that night you came up here. i only re-aranged them to find out why you werent getting boost. now that we know your pulleys didnt line up, i offered to install the hoses back the correct way.

ok^^^^back on track I called up the tech dept at moss and got a solution. I ordered the gear pulley from my year kit, this will push the pulley out alittle making it aligned with the kit. Now I just wait for it to come.

Did your kit originally come from the 96-98 civic or the 99-00 civic. I was trying to research your problem as to prevent some things happening for my build in the near future and I did notice that the manifold itself was the same all the way to 98 but it has a different part number in 99-00 ex kit. Also when you say you are getting a new snout pulley is that just the pulley at the end of the supercharger that spins the charger itself? I see by looking at the component lists on the JRSC site that the 96+ kits are the only ones that have 3 rib pulleys so if you swap on a 4 rib pulley everything else should line up right?

Also you said in an above post that you got a new mani because you thought that might be your problem, did it help in the alignment as well as getting the new pulley?
