Nah I thought it was the mani, it wasnt the 99-00 are totally different due to the ex head , well thats what the SC tech at moss said. anyways, this new snout pulley which is the pulley at the end of the blower should push it out to the correct alignment and yes the new belt is a 4 rib which works with all the rest of my cars pullies. Im glad I can help I will keep you all posted when I get everything back and running.

you sure about that? your crank and alternator pullies are 3 rib.
sounds like youre getting over your head and just throwing money at the problem and not actually thinking it out.

ok didnt read my original post over after submiting it. I was talking about the pulley lol. I just ordered a 4 rib pulley. I will be using a 3 rib belt. I ordered the stock boost 89-91 civic boost belt, so im assuming that its 3 rib if not I will just cut a rib off.

Confirmed

Got my new pulley today . Its a little smaller diameter which is great and its a 4 rib so when I throw the y8 crank pulley on it will work great. It also takes care of the belt alignment as well . My intake mani should be done by tomorrow and I might ditch class this Thursday if its not raining and put the bitch back together. Here are some pics of the different pulleys and the solution to all those using the later model kits with the older model engines.

p.s. I did not need a pulley puller to get the snout off it came off with my hands, I guess im just strong like that lol /

I know my SC wasnt boosting right on the way home but I seemed to get really good gas, after an hour and ten min of driving the dial didnt even move lol.

I think the SC mani breaths better or somthing.
