I would definatly run the walboro pump. Don't chance it. It is pretty easy to drop the tank and change the pump. Just make sure the tank is empty.

Ohhh hand prints huh,
I think you have to polish that stuff out..

I plan on thoroughly cleaning any header, and then using gloves to install.
from what i've read it's the oils in your hands that will actually stain it.

building up the transmission on the Bseries as soon as i pick it up from my buddy. (still in his crx) i bought the m62 blower for it about a month ago.

but a lot of people want to see what i can pull out of a D series engine and m45 supercharger. i'm kinda curious too. might as well upgrade the pulleys and put the ****** on the rollers.

HAHAHA yup sure is. Well im finally SCed all thanks to Joe the one man that stand by his word. This install was a bitch!!!! I really think its because it came of an ek and there were a bunch of little problems. We have a few bugs to fix but the car is drivable and boosts up . All in all im really glad that I went SC, and so lucky Joe helped. He is the man. well Now i got some questions.

Tad, what pulley belt are you using? My sc originaly came off an ek. I got my SC with pullies that look like they fit a different belt. I already riped threw one on the way home and the belt was having a hard time grabing. Also could anyone with an EF please take a pic of your map censor area to show the vacume lines ext ext.

Thanks guys.

Post some pics of your ish so I can see what you guys are running, and how your setup looks in comparison.

thx

i'm going to re-do the vacuum to how they were before.... like stock.

i just rearranged them to figure out that boost/vac issue. i'll put them back for you and re-adjust your idle.

I'd like to see a pic of your setup. I'm probably going to follow suit with an ek jackson charger on an ef d15b2 motor. Any specific problems with using the ek charger on your crx motor? I already gathered that pullies, belts and hoses seem to be an issue, any others? Oh snap, Theres going to be a group of whiners in the Bay. Supercharged whining that is.

ahahah yeah... well as far as problems looks like the snouts are just a bit off but I have to figure out how to push the altenator back a bit from the shock tower so it will stop eating belts. Every thing else looks good and seems to be fine. I will keep you all posted.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by robx7fcna &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Hey guys, thought I would bump up this thread with a couple of questions for you JRSC gurus... Read all 10 pages and gaied a bunch of knowlege

I just picked up a D16y8 JRSC kit with the crank pulley boost upgrade for $900 CAD. I plan to put this on my stock internaled D16a6 (CRX Si). I have had my PM6 socketed, bought DSM 390's, 190 lph pump, so I am pretty much setup.

The problem is, the D16y8 blower pulley seems to be inset towards the motor and about a 1/2" out of alignment from the other pullies (idlers, alt, crank pulleys all line up.) A friend of mine told me that it was like this to clear the shock tower and master cyl on EK's.

-Can this y8 blower pulley be made to work on my setup (spacer??) I am thinking prolly not since it would throw things out of balance...

- From what I read on here JR has discontinued pullies, right? Or is that just the upgrade pullies? Any other souces to get pullies besides Endyn and JR??

Thanks in advance for your help. -Rob- </TD></TR></TABLE>

I hear you man. Whats the deal I have the same problem
