First - that's the deepest intercooler I've seen...it almost looks comical. Not hating, that thing is just THICC. Second, your build is so meticulous and clean - I really enjoy following this thread and hope you meet your goals.

Thanks man! Yeah the intercooler is 6 inches thick and rated for 1300hp and pretty much needed.
AZ, I agree with others in the fact I love following your progress. You are taking thing so much further then most people would, in fact.... most of my motivation has come from watching your build. I would really enjoy meeting up sometime at an event

Well of course, gonna be making my own "lht" manifold and have future fab John weld it up for me. Got me a one owner 92 CX hatch I'll be transferring everything over to soon also. Shooting for 250+ on the b16.

Nice, at least with John welding you shouldn't have any leaks LOL.
This build is insane, really appreciate you going into detail as there aren't many really high hp build threads like this. Props on the catch can, looks like it turned out pretty good & hopefully the added baffling solves the issues you were having. Definitely looking forward to updates
Thanks guys!! So about 5 years ago when I was doing all my Kingpin suspension upgrades I also switched from the EK Power Steering rack and subframe to the EG manual rack and subframe. Over the years though the lower control arm welded nut on the inside of the subframe broke on the driver side and I had to do the old cut a hole in the subframe and weld the nut back on. Well one thing I noticed on my car awhile ago was play on the passenger side lower control arm and sure enough the welded nut on that side broke free. So again I had to cut into the subframe and replace the bolt, at this point I decided to order the NRG Subframe and just ditch the stock crap.
This subframe only weighs 8 pounds compared to the stock 31 pound subframe so I not only get a better subframe but I also drop some additional weight which is awesome. This was a pick off of NRG's website so can't weight to get it in.
