My buddy bought fiberglass doors for a build that ended up not happening so he told body work them, paint them and get them fitted and throw them on. In current form they weigh 4 pounds a piece.

So I’ve been working on getting the fiberglass doors fitted and setup before I body work them and prep for paint. It is going to be a lot of weight savings, I pulled my current doors off that I had already cut the crash bars. My doors weighed 67.8 pounds and I’m guessing a true stock door would be about 84 pounds. I’ve weighed the fiberglass doors and fully assembled as of now it’s 32 pounds but after some filler and paint I’m going to say they will be about 35. So I’m going to save about 65 pounds total plus the subframe I’m at almost 100 pounds lost.

The doors are a great place to loose weight. I did it the budget way on my all motor crx and cut everything out besides the latch assemble and outter door skin and window frame. I don't have an official weight for them but they weigh almost nothing compared to the heavy *** stock crx doors, I'll weigh them when I pull them back off to wrap them. I'm sure the fiberglass doors are a bit more rigid too though. I was really surprised at how heavy the side impact bars were when I pulled them out.

Jase Composites has them for $1,500 in fiberglass, or $3,000 in CF.

these are jase and they are not worth 500 dollars LOL. My buddy bought these last year and when he got them they are truly messed up, he tried returning them but jase would not take them back.

My buddy gave them over to me to use on my car because I can body work and paint pretty well. Like I said these doors require extreme work to get them to work for sure

Siebon carbon doors are 500 more and they are 100 times better..

Jase has screwed over many people and then rebrands. If you are looking for front ends go with Franks.

Well this picture is the fiberglass door, I still have the original doors. I also now have the quick release hinges and can pull my doors off in seconds.

I will makes these fiberglass glass doors beautiful when I’m done👍

I’m hoping it will be 2200 or less. I have most of the interior in the car and it also has a 25.5 cage in it so if I can get it under 2200 I will be happy.
