For sure man! Probably going to be a month before it ships and from there we have to figure out how to wire it up. But no more solenoids, vacuum lines, springs will be nice.
I'm curious how it would work on an aftermarket EMS; be it Neptune, Hondata, Motec, etc.. The 10th gen civic uses an EWG and the only way to make any adjustments is through the ECU; flash, etc. I'm sure vac and a solenoid will potentially be necessary.. There HAS to be a way to monitor target pressure vs actual pressure for the WG to operate. This is only achieved through vac lines.

Nope this will require a bridge of some sort for power but will be run through the ECU. These do not require any solenoids or vacuum lines. They do not come with any ports for it and Joe was saying all he has to do is build a boost table to control and operate this.
Everything will be setup through the ECU but once this comes in and we figure it out I will of course post some stuff up for it.
I did not end up going, I got hit with a pretty bad cold and felt like crap. I am going to hopefully head out here soon to a Friday Night Event, our track here in Phoenix opens back up in the next few weeks so I will try and hit some Friday Night events to get some test passes in before our next IFO event in March.
It wasn't crazy but just felt like crap, if it was a local IFO I would have done it.
I just need to get my car out and start making some damn passes LOL.
I could have sworn I saw your car in one of the videos from that weekend. It was a quick shot from the left lane but looked like a black EK coupe. That's cool that your track opens so early in the year.

That sucks but, I understand. Everyone here has had it.. Even the dogs were all sneezes and sniffles for a couple days.
So I went out to the first opening of Friday night drags and it was packed. I got there 1.5 hours early and there already was people waiting.
First off I only got two passes in 5 hours and the track prep was absolutely crap compared to when I do events. Anyway I was there to test to see if my new oil box setup would work, make sure my tires didn’t rub anymore and the car goes straight.
Now before I went I had a soft tune put in just so we could test at lower boosts and get some data, my tuner wasn’t at the track so I made no adjustments at all.
I have mixed results, first pass was a 9.2 at 173 and the only other pass I got was a 9.1 at 170. What I don’t like is the 60 foot as you can see from the slips, I haven’t had 1.7 or 1.8 60 foots in 6 years LOL, I normally am in the 1.5’s so that alone would have put me in the 8.8 range. I’m also a bit happy just for the fact that I was probably at 70% power as well.
So I’m pretty happy with the results, not so much for the 60 foots but this is why you test.

I also got a new GoPro so I will try and get it up LOL.
Are you still not at full rpm/psi? I'm assuming so due to your tuner not being there...is that all oil smoke from blowby?
I just brought the box down to joe to look at, I was only launching at 6psi off the line and was at 50% duty cycle during the pass. In 4th I was about 40psi but have maybe another 20 left and we are playing around with stuff. This second pass in 4th joe said the wideband sensor started going out and in 4th went way rich which I felt in that pass.
