no on is going to have any ideal of what you are talking about. No model of the car, No blue prints to or diagram of the harness.

im checking the ecu to see if im getting a signal b/c i checked the continuity on the ckp and its fine so there is a short in one of the wires

if i touch the power wire* for the ckp* and the car i get no continuity
but if i touch the ground *for the ckp* and car i get continuity?

Re: Continuity???? (xXSilentScreamXx)
The power wire should have no continuity to ground, [cars chassis]
The the ground should have full continuity to ground, [as it is a ground]
There is no short to ground on the power lead, and the ground lead should be grounded, as it is. 94

Re: Continuity???? (xXSilentScreamXx)
Yea, it would have been nice if he had told us where the short was.
I would assume it is in the wiring from the CKF, [Crankshaft Fluctuation Sensor] the pulse rotor is mounded at the front end of the crank shaft, and the pickup sensor is mounded to the engine next to the rotor.
You can fallow the lead from the sensor to the plug, [remove timing cover] unplug the sensor, set meter to impedance and touch probes to the 2 outer terminals of the plug going to the sensor, [not the middle terminal] impedance should be 1.6-3.2 K ohms, if not replace the sensor, [94-98 Integra and 96-98 Civic] you can also check continuity to chassis ground on the two outside terminals, [again, not the center terminal] if there is continuity, replace the sensor.
What is the h22 obd1 motor out of?
Above specs may not apply to it? 94
