Icon5 Help with flasher relay

Looking for my flasher/turn signal relay. Both have stopped working and bulbs are all good. I have checked all fuses are good but can not find the relay to replace? Does anyone have an idea where the relay for the flashers is located? Thank you for your insight and any drawings of pictures would be welcomed

What is the year, make, model, and trim level of your ride?

If it is before 2009, I might have reference info to help.......

Thank you but it is a 2021 Accord SE, any chance you have the reference for that model flasher relay? Do not seem to be in a great location.

The 2021 Accord doesn't have a traditional turn signal/flasher relay.

The turn signal/hazard warning lights are controlled by the body control module (the body control module is located under the dash), using input from the combination light switch or hazard warning switch signal. When the body control module receives a left turn or right turn command from the combination light switch, it blinks the front and rear turn signal lights for the left or right side of the vehicle. When the body control module receives a hazard warning command from the hazard warning switch, it blinks the front and rear turn signal lights for both sides of the vehicle.

The body control module has IPDs (Intelligent Power Devices - a semiconductor power switch) which allow power to go to the turn signal lights.

Check under-hood Fuse A19 (15A), as power is routed through that fuse to the body control module's IPDs.

i have used a scan tool , to change the parameters of flash rate (incandescent bulbs vs. led) on new f 550 trucks- not sure if that can be done on newer hondas.

Thank you for your help, I will get a fuse today and try, which fuse is A19? Amazing all of the people wanting to sell me a relay told me I needed that part. I hope this works, hate not having turn signals.

Tech8,

Thanks for all your help but I made a mistake, it is a 2012 Honda Accoed. Any idea on the flasher relay if there is one?

2012 also doesn't have a traditional flasher relay. The Turn Signal/Hazard Flasher Circuit is part of the driver's multiplex integrated control unit (MICU). The MICU is built into the driver's side under-dash fuse/relay box. If it was bad, the whole under-dash fuse/relay box is replaced as a unit.

You can check under-hood Fuse No. 9 (15A), which supplies power to the Driver’s MICU and Hazard Warning Switch circuits.
