Default DESPERATE help with electrical issue (CKP code 4)...possible short ? [PICTURES]

One day...all of a sudden...my car was setting a rev limiter at 3500 RPM. I checked the code...CKP code 4...crankshaft position sensor.

Here is what I have tried so far:
2 distributors
Another ECU
Adjusting Distributor
New plugs and basic crap

I've decided its probably an electrical issue...and I'm pretty new to electrical stuff. I picked up a factory manual from someone and made some copies and im following step by step. Everything seemed to be OK up until the point where I check for continuity from body ground to the pins on the ECU harness that run to the sensor...

these are my results...

This is my ground connection (I guess its ok...i put it on there tight but then again i dont know what im doing. The carpet is pressing against it pretty well.

This is my reading when i test one of the pins in question:

And this is the other....(as it SHOULD be i believe)

Car has sat for 2 months while I bum rides to work...so id really appreciate some help so I can get to school in august.

I replaced the distributor a couple times...I was under the impression that it was inside the distributor itself.

hmm

i assume the CKP has to have something to reference...so ill look for that sensor. Dont remember messing with one when i did my harnesses before...but hell i forget a lot of things.

Im really interested in figuring out what that meter is saying first though.

this assume that your car is obd1? more info on the car model and year.
for test and check on electrical you should use the t-pin (they sell then at the craft and yarn store) and use aligator clip for better grip and connection.
