I picked up this 98, clean titled single owner, milano red Integra about 2 years ago and have just starting to make a lot of progress on it. Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

So this is what it looked like when I first picked it up:

http://a652.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...d246e92ccb.jpg

What it looked like for a while after I got it.

Removed the spoiler, swapped the logos, dropped it on Tenabe springs w/ Rota GT3s

http://a121.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...2d7895b9a8.jpg

Stripped out my rear seats, cleaned it up a bit and laid down some sound dampening carpet. Total cost 16 bucks

http://a322.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...a646622ce9.jpg

Picked up an OEM ITR front lip from a local HT member

http://a385.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...c42d735d80.jpg

I got really really sick of the Rotas and decided to order some 15" Enkei RPF1s, Tokico Illuminas and some H&R race springs

Sold the Rotas for $600 and installed these

Notice the height before suspension was on:

<img src="http://a10.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/20/l_e518f33e05a75b94c5e92c1ed80183d1.jpg">

And after:

http://a235.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...2b606dfd2a.jpg

Stuff Installed:
-Momo champ wheel w/ Mugen horn button
-Momo hub
-98 spec JDM ITR cluster
-ITR boot and armrest
-Mugen 5mt knob (blue)
-Amber climate control
-New DStuning mats
-JHP plate frame

http://a526.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...f32f1e9155.jpg

http://a845.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...6782abe19c.jpg

http://a785.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...3250e6c930.jpg

So after a little while I traded a guy straight up for an amber clock then bought an Si deck (which was a pain to install) so the whole dash lights in amber

http://a581.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...8ab84637fc.jpg

Worth it IMO

Love these wheels!!

http://a629.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...e03abba4fc.jpg

I don't know why, but I really like this pic ^

http://a185.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...314b378de8.jpg

Purchased a new steering column cover to replace my old scratched up one:

Old:

New:

New:

It was finally a nice day in Oly, so I figured I'd clean the car up and take some pics.

car looks really good. Some OEM fogs would make it complete.
what exhaust do you have?

I'm not a huge fan of the OEM fogs so I'm probly just gonna leave it with the lip. But its stock as of now https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif

lol DO IT!!

So I will be posting up quite a few of new pics tonight... especially of my paint job on the lip.

Check back a lil bit later for some updates https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

skipunk4 04-28-2008 09:47 PM

Re: (skipunk4)

Picked up some brand new splash guards up for half price so I couldn't pass that up.

http://a639.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...ba044adf16.jpg

http://a940.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...86dc78dec3.jpg

http://a194.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...b24fe21e89.jpg

So I have decided to just paint the front lip myself because every body shop I went to was gonna charge me from $130 to $150, CRAZY!! Plus it's so close to the ground its gonna just get all chipped up anyways since its my DD. So yesterday I went out and bought some supplies for the job.

Heres how the lip sat when I first got it:

http://a385.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...c42d735d80.jpg

Everything cost me around $25 bucks, so even if it doesn't turn out perfect I'm not out anything https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif and if it does turn out well then I'm set https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

So this is what I got: Any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif
-3 5 oz cans of Milano Red Duplicolor
-1 5 oz can of clear coat (may need one more?)
-2 sheets of finer grit wet/dry sandpaper

http://a836.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...fb3acac8cb.jpg

So once I got home I started wet sanding it, then I dried it off let it off and let it sit for like 10 min so it would fully dry. Then I dry sanded it and this is how it sits now:

http://a990.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...d07e96a645.jpg

http://a158.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...f765e1b1a5.jpg

So today I made A LOT of progress on the lip. Check it out:

First coat: Looks pink https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif

http://a395.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...c9c6a2dfb2.jpg

Second coat: Starting to look better

http://a32.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/...d5f7d89757.jpg

Third coat: Coming along

http://a852.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...b02a4eab6b.jpg

Ran out of paint https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif so I went and bought some more https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif also got some 1500 grit sand paper for wet sanding.

http://a765.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...f0b12c2ad4.jpg

Sprayed those 2 cans on and still needed more. So before I left to go buy more I popped the lip on to see how it matched up.

http://a793.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...755592c130.jpg

http://a718.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...05f61cbd1d.jpg

At the end of the night this is what I had: Total of 9 cans of paint, some dirty fine grit sand paper, and some nasty red tack cloth, oh ya and an ITR lip painted to match https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

http://a851.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...e6e918a052.jpg

http://a419.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...83b62a73aa.jpg

http://a200.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...f4a255f2ff.jpg

Paint is complete, so tomorrow after school I'm going to wet sand, clear coat and polish https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

Total cost around $50 bucks, plus it was a fun learning experience https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif I love doin stuff myself!

BUMP if you view https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

Ya I think the 9 cans really did the job lol. I was crazy to think 3 cans would work. But I got the clear on today. Check it out!

Thanks https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif and I am dying to get that thing cleaned up. YOU HAVE NO IDEA lol

So today I made some progress on the lip today. I ended up using 3 cans of clear, and it turned out pretty good IMO. I also took off the bumper for getting it all mounted up easily.

Take a look: The pictures don't do it justice

BUMP IT!

PLUS I'm gonna buff the shit out of it tomorrow after class https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif we'll see how it looks after that.

So it went from this:

w00t, whens the next local meet?

So I'm trying to figure out what kind of exhaust to get. There is soo many choices. I have almost made up my mind, but I just wanted some opinions.

Here are my choices:
1. Mugen twin loop
2. Spoon N1
3. T1R Power 63
4. Apexi ws2
