Are you riding first gear past the tree? I don't think it's an issue with the slicks.

If it heats up while idling it's most likely your fan. I had the same issue when lining up. My temps would go to 220+. I replaced the fan and some other stuff and temps stayed below 195.

You need a better fan. A spal fan would drop the temps. I had a similar issue. Also coating my manifold and turbo and water wetter helped. E85 also helped

Why not just run a k24 block. Seems like a nightmare to make it work on the h series and very expensive.

I pulled 1.62 60' on completely stock suspension. Suspension isn't your issue. As long as your car is aligned you should be good. Seat time and track tuning make the biggest difference. Tire pressure...

Your driving style is most likely wHy your breaking gears. Some people break gears and 200whp and some people don't break gears at 1000whp

The point I'm trying to make is your going to spend atleast ten grand and you don't even know if it will work/break etc. you wouldn't even know what gearing to use or what Torque converter etc. it...

Then you'll have a good auto. Otherwise good luck with an auto trans with more then 400whp

Something else was wrong. The clutch didn't cause that. Shop probably installed the thrust washers backwards

I'm a fan of ERL but when was the last time you heard of a Any aftermarket sleeve crack?(never) I've heard a few years back of sleeves sinking or blowing gaskets with random machine shops installing...
