How necessary is a twin disc
Ok so in going for a retune in a couple weeks shooting for high fives maybe six. Last time I went to the dyno car made 493 and I am using an act stage 5 with a solid hub six puck. It did not give me any issues and made numerous mid 11 passes. At what power levels has anyone seen their clutch slip on the dyno?

Go to the website below. Put in the numbers to find out how much torque your going to be making based on how much power you want to make at which RPM. Take that torque number and go shopping for a clutch.

It goes by TQ not so much WHP. But since your looking for whp wise, my stage 5 clutch started to max out around 605whp. Some will go to 630 but it all depends on the TQ.....You could probably get the Stage 5 to work but if it glazes on the dyno then your tranny is going to blow. I ended up getting a CC Twin Disc and never looked back since
